  Hello, my name is Cecilia, and I'm a textile techniques teacher. My partner, Joaquin, and I have a small plot of land in a rural area near the Quito airport. Our daily routine includes feeding the chickens, tending the vegetable garden, maintaining the flower garden, and continuing to build our house. We like to prepare healthy meals, using as little processed food as possible. We aren't vegetarians, although we eat very little meat. Our cooking is simple but nutritious; we make our own yogurt, dulce de leche, peanut butter, and other things. We dedicate a lot of time to textile work, specifically the alpaca wool process. We also have chickens, ducks, a rabbit, and a cat.
  
  Hola, mi nombre es Cecilia y soy maestra de tecnicas textiles, junto a mi compañero Joaquin tenemos una parcela en una zona rural cerca del aeropuerto de Quito.
  Nuestro dia a dia incliuye alimentar a las gallinas, cuidar el huerto, mantener el jardin y seguir construyendo nuestra casa Nos gusta preparar comidas saludables buscando lo menos procesado posible. No somos vegetarianos aunque comemos poca carne, nuestra cocina es simple pero nutritiva, hacemos nuestro yogurt, dulce de leche, mantequilla de mani entre otras cosas. Mucho tiempo dedicamos al trabajo textil, especificamente el proceso de la lana de alpaca.
  Tenemos gallinas, patos, un conejo y un gato.

  This is the dream stay for anyone who loves wool and knitting. You'll have access to all the fiber you could ever need, and you can spend afternoons felting or knitting. You'll be able to learn and practice Spanish, and we'll exchange languages. In the mornings, you can do yoga or meditation since the place is very peaceful and full of birds, including hummingbirds, robins, and others. You can also cook to your liking; we love learning about recipes from other places. We want to share with you that it's possible to live a good quality life with little. Our way of life is simple and connected to nature, so this exchange isn't structured, but rather an experience of living together, learning, and creating together.
  
  Es la pasantia soñada para quienes les gusta la lana y los tejidos, tendras acceso a toda la fibra que puedas usar, tardes de fieltro o tejido. Podras aprender y practicar español e intercaremos idiomas. Por las mañanas puedes hacer yoga o meditacion ya que el lugar es muy tranquilo, hay muchas aves, colibris, petirrojos y otros. Podras cocinar a tu gusto tambien, nos encanta conocer recetas de otros lugares. Queremos compartir contigo que se puede vivir con poco y tener una vida de buena calidad. Nuestra forma de vida es simple y conectada con la naturaleza, por lo que este intercambio no es algo estructurado, sino más bien una experiencia de convivencia, aprendizaje y creación compartida.

  Unterkunft

  We offer a private room with two single beds, located outside the main house, providing a quiet and independent space with excellent Wi-Fi.
  The bathroom, with a hot shower, is located in the main house and is shared with us.
  It's not luxurious, but it's comfortable. The walls could use some art; we invite you to contribute.
  
  We offer breakfast, which consists of fruit, yogurt, milk, bread, eggs, etc.
  Lunch is a hot meal, usually including vegetables, legumes, pasta, rice, and other options.
  Dinner, you can prepare another meal in the afternoon, we always have ingredients and food available in the kitchen.
  Expensive items such as honey, nuts, tofu, plant-based milk, or plant-based protein are not included.
  
  Ofrecemos una habitación privada con dos camas individuales, ubicada fuera de la casa principal, lo que permite tener un espacio tranquilo e independiente con excelente WIFI.
  El baño, con ducha de agua caliente, se encuentra en la casa principal y es compartido con nosotros.
