… read more this at all and the communication was great, they are all very down-to-earth people and this place quickly began to feel like a home away from home. Work was varied (cleaning, gardening, painting, etc.) but never too taxing and they were always very considerate of my energy levels. I was blessed to be able to learn to sew with Jo and Stella, have mini yoga lessons from Stephen, and spend time bonding with pets Rangi and Leo. The Sunshine Coast is beautiful, and even though I didn't have my own vehicle, I was always given the option to have rides to the beach, shops, and national parks which was wonderful to explore on my own, but I also enjoyed spending time on their property, watching shows and movies together, and having a nice dinner together at the end of each day. I feel so blessed to have stumbled upon this generous family and sincerely hope the best for them!
