  Hello,
  I'm Sabine, I live in the south of the Pyrénées Orientales just next to the Spanish border. It's a beautiful and very touristic region between sea and mountains.
  
  The land is situated in a small village, 33km south of Perpignan and 13km from Céret. It is a forest of one hectare of cedar and pine trees. I live here with my children (18 and 22 years old) in a house built with straw and wood from the land. We also have 3 cats.
  Last years, we built with volunters a 30m2 building using local wood, straw and earth.
  This room is used to welcome friends and visitors, and above all to host workshops on dance, movement and well-being.
  
  Enjoy the peace and quiet, the beauty of nature, and the sound of birdsong.
  
  I work in the environmental sector, mainly in water management, dry toilets and composting. I spent 10 years travelling around the world working on eco-projects. What I enjoyed most was meeting people. Now, welcoming you allows me to continue travelling from home by meeting you and doing tasks together.

  Je suis Sabine, j’habite dans le sud des Pyrénées Orientales juste à côté de la frontière Espagnole. C’est une magnifique région très touristique entre mer et montagne.
  
  Le terrain est situé sur la commune d'un petit village à 33km au sud de Perpignan à 13km de Céret. C’est une forêt d’un hectare de cèdres et de pins. J’habite ici avec mes enfants (18 et 22 ans) dans une maison construite en paille terre et bois du terrain. Nous avons également 3 chats.
  Nous avons construit ces dernières années un bâtiment de 30m2 en chantier participatif avec bois du terrain, paille et terre locale. Cette salle sert à accueillir des amis/visiteurs et surtout à faire des ateliers autour de la danse, du mouvement et du bien être.
  Vous apprécierez ici le calme, la nature et le chant des oiseaux.
  
  Je travaille dans l'environnement, principalement la gestion de l'eau, les toilettes sèches et le compostage. J'ai voyagé en itinérance pendant 10 ans autour d'éco-projets. Ce qui m'a plu le plus fut la rencontre humaine. Aujourd'hui, vous accueillir me permets de continuer à voyager de chez moi en vous rencontrant et en faisant ensemble.

  I love making everything myself using whatever I have to hand. Whether it’s at home in the kitchen, with beauty products, or out in my garden.
  I can share with you my experience in straw and earth building, ecological purification associated with dry toilets, rainwater recuperation, compost and many other subjects concerning habitat. I am passionate about many things and will be happy to share on all subjects concerning ecology in all senses of the word (food, recycling, food waste, family instruction...) and many other subjects.
  I am very curious and love to meet the world of others people
  I am also passionate about dance (contact improvisation, somatic practices, traditional dances) and it is not excluded that I take you for a little outing!
  
  
  FRANÇAIS
  J'aime tout faire moi-même à partir de ce que j'ai sous la main. Que ce soit chez moi en cuisine, en cosmétique ou dehors dans mon jardin.
  Je peux partager avec vous mon expérience de la construction en paille et terre, de l’assainissement écologique associé aux toilettes sèches, de la récupération des eaux de pluie, du compost et de nombreux sujets sur l’habitat. Je me passionne pour de nombreuses choses et serai ravie de partager sur tous les sujets concernant l’écologie dans tous les sens du terme (alimentation, recyclage, gaspillage alimentaire, instruction en famille…) et bien d’autres sujets.
  Je suis très curieuse et adore rencontrer l’univers des autres et des mondes différents.
  Je me passionne aussi pour la danse (contact improvisation, pratiques somatiques, danses traditionnelles) et il n’est pas exclu que je vous embarque pour une petite sortie !

  We had a storm here this winter. We’ve had a lot of damage in the forest and to the outdoor facilities.
  We’ve already done many things with the help of professionals, but there’s still tasks to be done outside. It’s nothing complicated, but you will need to be comfortable with helping outdoors and doing manual tasks. I will do my best to be around and work as a team. You will be welcome with your ideas.
  
  This is different things we can do together: gardening, landscaping, forest tasks, clearing undergrowth, and raking leaves.
  We'll also be able to cook together
  No skills required, just the desire to do things together.
  I need 5 hours of help a day, 5 days a week
  Break for everyone at the weekend

  Une tempête est passée chez nous cet hiver. Nous avons eu beaucoup de dégâts dans la forêt et sur les aménagements extérieurs. Nous avons déjà fait beaucoup de choses avec des professionnels mais il reste encore du travail dehors. Il ne s'agit pas de choses compliquées mais il faut juste être à l'aise avec le travail en extérieur et manuel. Je ferai de mon mieux pour être présente et travailler en équipe. Vos idées seront les bienvenues.
  Voici les différentes choses que nous pourrons faire ensemble  : du jardinage, de l'aménagement des espaces extérieurs, entretien de la forêt, débroussaillage, ramassage de feuilles.
  Nous pourrons aussi cuisiner ensemble.
  Pas de compétences requises, juste l’envie de faire ensemble.
  Je demande 5 heures de travail par jour, 5 jours par semaine
  Pause pour tous le weekend.

  Unterkunft

  You can sleep in the new 30m² building made of straw bale and earth and a reciprocal roof, if it is available. It is unfurnished as it is usually used for dance events, but there will be a mattress for sleeping. It is also possible to sleep in a caravan.
  You can use the house shower and the outdoor dry toilets. You can also use the outdoor kitchen.
  Meals on weekdays: organic, home-cooked and vegetarian. We will do together.
  At weekends, you’ll need to be self-sufficient, and food supplies will be made available to you.
  
  FRANÇAIS
  Vous pourrez dormir dans le nouveau batiment de 30m2 en terre paille et toit réciproque s'il est disponible. Il n'est pas meublé car habituellement il sert à des évènements de danse mais il y aura un matelas pour dormir. Possibilité aussi de dormir dans une caravane.
  Vous pourrez utiliser la douche de la maison et les toilettes sèches extérieures. Vous pourrez aussi utiliser la cuisine extérieure.
  Repas en dehors des weekend : bio, faits maison et végétariens.
  Les weekend vous devrez être autonomes et des denrhées alimentaires seront mis à votre disposition.

  Our region is not touristy for nothing. In addition to having a very nice Mediterranean climate, our department is very varied due to its geographical position. You have the choice between the sea with its large sandy beaches and its rocky coast, the arid or luxuriant mountains, the rivers and also the hot springs by going a little further. Some sites are very touristy like Collioure but are worth the detour. All imaginable activities in the sea, mountains and rivers are of course possible.
  We live in a pretty little village of less than 400 habitants at the foot of the Canigou (Catalan mountain). It is located at about 600m altitude, 37km from the sea, 30km from Spain and 13km from Céret, the sub-prefecture. Its situation allows us to have less heat in summer and to be a little away from the tourist influx. Many hikes can be done from the site.
  For transports: many public transports are available in the whole department, including a very good network of buses at 1€. On the other hand, you should not really count on public transport from the village and prefer to hitchhike if you are on foot. The nearest town Céret is very pleasant and you will find all the conveniences there. I can also drop you off there when I drive by.
  
  What to bring: Bring good work shoes and clothes that can get dirty. In the summer, protection from the sun and rain is essential in addition to weatherproof clothing, mosquito repellent if you’re sensitive to it .

  Notre région n’est pas touristique pour rien. En plus de bénéficier d’un climat méditerranéenne très agréable, notre département est très varié de part sa position géographique. Vous avez le choix entre la mer avec ses grandes plages de sable et sa côte rocheuse, les montagnes arides ou luxuriantes, les rivières et aussi les sources chaudes en allant un peu plus loin. . Certains sites sont très touristiques comme collioure mais valent le détour. Toutes les activités imaginables en mer montagne rivières sont bien sur possible.
  Nous habitons dans un joli petit village de moins de 400 habitants au pied du Canigou (montagne des catalans). Il est situé à environs 600m d’altitude, à 37 km de la mer, à 30km de l’espagne et à 13km de céret la sous préfecture. Sa situation nous permet d’avoir moins chaud en été et d’être un peu à l’écart des afflux touristiques. De nombreuses randonnées peuvent être faites au départ du terrain.
  Pour les transports : de nombreux transports en commun sont prévus dans tous le département dont un très bon réseau de bus à 1€. Par contre il ne faut pas vraiment compter sur des transports en commun au départ du village et privilégier le stop si vous êtes à pied. La ville la plus proche Céret est très agréable et vous y trouverez toutes les commodités. Je pourrai aussi vous y déposer lors de mes passages en voiture.
  
  Ce qu'il faut apporter :
  Prévoyez de bonnes chaussures de travail et des vêtements qui peuvent se salir.
  En été, une protection contre le soleil et la pluie en plus de vêtements résistant aux intempéries, produit anti moustiques si vous y êtes sensible..

  ENGLISH We have a decent wifi connexion and good mobile phone signal. But we don't have office for workawayer, so we'll able to fit out something in your accomodation. FRENCH Nous avons une connection wifi correcte et un bon signal pour les portables. Mais nous n'avons pas de bureau pour les workawayer donc nous pourrons aménager quelque chose dans votre logement.
