Hello, we are a big bouncy family of six, plus donkeys, dogs , cats and chickens!
We have plenty of fun learning and enjoying our beloved home and setting with workaways.
There are so many different projects to fit all with lots of music and stories to share too!
Really looking for motivated helpers. A couple or single all welcome.
Essential that you are family/ child friendly (we have 4 children from 7-13years old) and happy to immerse yourself in the family chaos
There will be lots of fun projects going on as ever, including:
From October 2025 in particular we will be working on…
Looking for help with bringing in fire wood, kindling, organising space, craft activities and games with the children and family in general, some basic gardening ( new veggie beds, garden design and planting) and general farm a maintenance.
This is a non commercial/ non business Workaway.
All year round we are looking for:
Preparing and maintaining our family large veggie plot
--basic land management ( pruning, cuttings, strimming. Very simple gardening.
- donkey care
- development of veggie garden / composting/ planning
- child care ( after school)
- forest , collecting wood, cutting wood
- household duties, cleaning, dusting and tidying
- cleaning, organising, clearing out barns, daily house care .
- herb harvest and making of personal herbal cosmetics
-Organising / packing
-Cooking- helping to keep the kitchen running through the day
As you can see there will be something to fit all!

We offer a peaceful setting for workaways to learn and be involved in this evolving family centred project . We will involve you in our day to day life, each day will be varied and there is always something workaways can learn and teach us too.
We are in an isolated location ( 10 minutes by car to the closest village). We don't go out everyday, so this might not suit everyone. We have 12 hectare of beautiful land ( woodland and field) which allows workaways to find their own space where needed.

Along with artisan trades and creating imaginative spaces.
Although we are English speaking we are happy to speak french if you wish to learn this language. Workaways will be able to explore this beautiful part of the dordogne. We have bikes galore and the roads are wonderful for those who wish to explore. Hautefort is 10 minutes by car: with restaurants and shops.

Arbeit
We're looking for workaways who want to experience this wonderful life with us.
We have 12 hectares of land, much of which is forest but there is a gorgeous courtyard that needs much pruning and inspiration. The vegetable garden is a constant and its always great to have help with it.
We'll serve all meals Monday-Friday : We will leave your weekends free for you to explore. However we are very flexible, so we can mix these days and time up, some days doing less, or more... etc..
We recommend no less than 1 week and to see how it goes from there.. Singles or couples.
