Flora and Alex stayed with us for 2 weeks. They showed themselves to be very friendly, warm and respectful and we were very happy to share our home with them. They are both capable, resourceful and versatile, and happily completed many tasks on our 'to do' list. Their enthusiasm and energy inspired us to get things done!

My partner and I had the chance to spend two lovely weeks with Kate and Ian. As soon as we arrived, they made us feel like their place was also ours. Being part of their family included sharing stories about Australia, their travels and experiences which was nice moments together. We had the chance to met some of their friends and family while
… read more sharing a meal and we had such a good time ! Kate and Ian are part of a choir and we have been able to see them practise. Magical moment, I could feel emotions through their voices. Sometimes during mornings we were working, Kate and Ian was with us and helped us to learn new and valuable skills ! We will keep those memories close ! We already planned to see them before we leave Australia !

Our experience with Alex as both a house guest and as a Workawayer was first-rate. A great communicator, Alex engaged easily and with interest with our family, friends and neighbours which made his stay with us a pleasure.
He was pro-active and willing to make suggestions regarding elements of our house and garden that needed fixing, improvement
… read more or could be done more efficiently, and was always respectful and cheerful company.
Alex wasted no time in getting many jobs done, offering advice and assistance and using his many skills, smarts and resourcefulness to attend to numerous things on 'the list' - including garden irrigation, spa electronic controller repair, dishwasher installation, pond pump, car key remotes, leaky fridge, blocked shower rose and wifi to name a few!
I can happily recommend Alex as a guest to Workaway hosts.

My experience at Catherine and Ian's was, in a single word, incredible! It marked my first visit to Australia, specifically Perth, where I arrived not knowing anyone. Yet, their home immediately felt like my own. Their warm and friendly welcome created a sense of familiarity as if we had known each other for ages, despite just meeting.

… read more my stay, Catherine played a crucial role in assisting me with my PhD research, guiding me to interesting places and suggesting various activities. She also organized enjoyable experiences, such as an offshore fishing trip, family gatherings, and fun excursions around Perth. By the end of my visit, I truly felt like a local, thanks to the numerous experiences, many of which were orchestrated by Catherine.
I must mention their two cats, and Simon, in particular, stood out as exceptionally friendly and the most gentle cat I've ever encountered. The room they provided was exceptionally comfortable, and Catherine's culinary skills consistently delivered delicious meals.
