  My name is Grazia, I am 67years old and I live in Pisogne, 500 m above Lake Iseo, in a house surrounded by meadows and woods. This position gives me access to a breathtaking view of the lake. Behind me, I can contemplate the Guglielmo summit which can be reached on foot, and from which one can go, following the ridge, the chain of Adamello.
  
  This lifestyle choice began about ten years ago with the aim of becoming self-sufficient by cultivating a healthy diet, and far, at least in part, from this consumerist system.
  
  - This journey began with the enthusiasm and determination of several people; in a few years we built a small barn, terraced to create vegetable gardens
  We had goats for milk and to make our cheeses, geese, chickens and ducks.
  
  - The initial choice was that each of us had a task, mine was to keep my part-time job in order to pay the rent and the utilities. However, I was also responsible for storing food for the winter, as well as making bread and cheese. But over the years, the people with whom the project started decided to take other paths.
  Now, being on my own, I can no longer take care of the animals and I have reduced my crops considerably.
  
  - This place allows several people to live in a bucolic and authentic setting, where there is spring water, wood for heating, an abandoned chestnut grove and arable land, even if it is steep.
  
  - I would need, at this time, to be helped to recover wood, to clean the chestnut grove by collecting the wood on the ground, but also to cultivate various fruits and vegetables.
  
  - This place is special, it needs to be looked at with visionary eyes.
  
  - Being an isolated place, I believe that two people together would be better off, also because woodworking is quite physical.
  
  - My dream is to see this little corner of paradise inhabited, lived and shared again.
  
  Je m'appelle Grazia, j'ai 67 ans et j'habite à Pisogne, à 500 m au-dessus du lac d'Iseo, dans une maison entourée de prés et de bois. Cette position me donne accès à une vue imprenable sur le lac. Derrière moi, je peux contempler le sommet Guglielmo que l'on peut rejoindre à pied, et depuis lequel on peut se rendre, en suivant la crète, la chaîne de l'Adamello.
  
  Ce choix de vie a commencé il y a une dizaine d'années dans le but de devenir autosuffisant en cultivant une alimentation saine, et loin, du moins en partie, de ce système consumériste.
  
  - Ce parcours a commencé avec l'enthousiasme et la volonté de plusieurs personnes ; en peu d'années, nous avons construit une petite étable, terrassé pour créer des potagers
  Nous avons eu des chèvres pour le lait et pour faire nos fromages, des oies, des poules et des canards.
  
  - Le choix initial était que chacun de nous ait une tâche, la mienne était de garder mon travail à temps partiel afin de payer le loyer et les charges. Cependant, je me chargeais aussi de la conservation des aliments pour l'hiver, ainsi que de faire le pain et le fromage. Or au cours des années, les personnes, avec lesquelles le projet avait commencé, ont décidé de prendre d'autres chemins.
  Maintenant, étant toute seule, je ne réussis plus à m'occuper des animaux et j'ai réduit considérablement mes cultures.
  
  - Ce lieu permet de faire vivre plusieurs personnes dans un cadre bucolique et authentique, où il y a de l'eau de source, du bois pour se chauffer, une châtaigneraie abandonnée et du terrain cultivable, même s'il est pentu.
  
  - J'aurais besoin, en ce moment, d'être aidée pour récupérer du bois, nettoyer la châtaigneraie en ramassant le bois à terre, mais aussi pour cultiver divers fruits et légumes.
  
  - Cet endroit est spécial, il a besoin d'être regardé avec des yeux visionnaires.
  
  - Étant un lieu isolé, je crois que deux personnes ensemble se trouveraient mieux, aussi parce que le travail du bois est assez physique.
  
  - Mon rêve est de voir ce petit coin de paradis de nouveau habité, vécu et partagé.

  trekking : from the near by mount Guglielmo to the Adamello group, swimming : Sebino ( Iseo) lake, or just resting on the rocking chair enjoing the place.
  The nearest big village Pisogne is 40 m walking or I can pick you up or down in my way to work.
  You can reach Pisogne from Brescia by train ( Brescia-Edolo line) then call me.
