  I recently bought a 15th and 16th century castle in the Tarn region - Department 81 (southwest) of France. I am looking for help from people with construction / renovation skills.
  
  **All of the openings that we have are PAID POSITIONS** In accordance with French law, we will pay at least minimum wage for all work done. If you are skilled in the building trades, we are happy to discuss what a fair hourly wage would be.
  
  Inside the Chateau, first and foremost, I am looking for people with solid renovation / construction skills in all areas. Preference is going to be given to folks who have a lot of experience in those areas (wall repair, painting, wallpapering, tile, masonry, possibly a little bit of plumbing). As we go along, (Spring of 2026) I will be looking for someone to help with cleaning / housekeeping. I am also looking for someone with solid gardening / landscaping skills to bring the grounds back into life.
  
  A bit about the chateau: In 1440, Gabriel de Monestiés was lord of the barony of Trévien, vassal of the bishops of Albi. The château dates from the 15th and 16th centuries, and was built by the Castelpers family, one of whose members married Yolande de Monestiés.
  
  J'ai récemment acheté un château des XVe et XVIe siècles dans le Tarn (sud-ouest de la France). Je recherche des personnes pour m'aider à redonner vie au château.
  
  **Tous les postes que nous avons sont rémunérés** Conformément à la loi française, nous paierons au moins le salaire minimum pour tous les travaux effectués. Si vous avez des compétences dans les métiers du bâtiment, nous serons heureux de discuter avec vous d'un salaire horaire équitable.
  
  A l'intérieur du Château, je recherche avant tout des personnes ayant des compétences en rénovation / construction dans tous les domaines. La préférence sera donnée aux personnes qui ont beaucoup d'expérience dans ces domaines. (réparation de murs, peinture, pose de papier peint, carrelage, maçonnerie, plomberie). Au fur et à mesure, je chercherai quelqu'un pour aider au nettoyage et à l'entretien. Je recherche également une personne ayant de solides compétences en jardinage et en aménagement paysager pour redonner vie au terrain.
  
  Quelques mots sur le château : En 1440, Gabriel de Monestiés est seigneur de la baronnie de Trévien, vassal des évêques d'Albi. Le château date des XVe et XVIe siècles et a été construit par la famille Castelpers, dont l'un des membres a épousé Yolande de Monestiés.

  Arbeit

  The castle hasn't been lived in for years and I am looking for several people to help with a number of projects. It is a large castle, lots of rooms, there are a lot of painting projects (either by hand or with a sprayer if you know how to use one) and we are planning on a number of wallpapering projects (happy to teach someone how to wallpaper!). Along with that, wall repair, tile work, masonry, and possibly some plumbing.
  
  The gardens have been let go for a number of years and need to be brought back as well - but this is likely a task for 2026.
  
  This is a paid position according to French law. The applicant must have a right to work in the EU. The position includes in house accommodation.
  
  Le château n'a pas été habité depuis des années et je cherche plusieurs personnes pour m'aider dans un certain nombre de projets. C'est un grand château, avec beaucoup de pièces, il y a beaucoup de projets de peinture (à la main ou avec un pulvérisateur si vous savez vous en servir) et nous prévoyons un certain nombre de projets de pose de papier peint (nous serions heureux d'apprendre à quelqu'un à poser du papier peint !
  
  Les jardins ont été laissés à l'abandon pendant un certain nombre d'années et ont également besoin d'être remis en état, probablement pas avant 2026.

  Unterkunft

  Each person will have a private room fully furnished with bed and bath linens provided. The bathroom is shared with another person and is down the hall.
  
  The kitchen is shared and you have access to our laundry room.
  
  Chaque personne disposera d'une chambre privée entièrement meublée avec le linge de lit et de toilette fourni. La salle de bain est partagée avec une autre personne et se trouve au bout du couloir.
  
  La cuisine est commune et vous avez accès à notre buanderie.
