Medieval castle and a medieval village in South West France

  **Our work is PAID POSITIONS** In accordance with French law, we will pay at least minimum wage for all work done.
  
  I have two different positions open in two different locations as I own a 13th century house in a lively medieval village (Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val) for which I need a receptionist - and I own a 15th century castle out in the middle of the countryside (Trevien) for which I need a carpenter.
  
  Below are the descriptions for both. Please read through them as they are very different :)
  
  At Trevien (the castle!) I am looking for someone who is a skilled carpenter and / or general handyman. Only looking for folks with experience at this point of the project. Ideally for March and April. I don't expect to need anyone after April if all goes well :)
  
  The castle was built in 1440 ...and is very much a stone medieval castle that was "renovated in the 18th century and has a lot of those decorative features in the castle, fireplaces, moldings, etc. We have lots of wooden windows and doors that could use some "love". We have some furniture pieces that need attention, we have kitchen cabinets that need to be set, etc. Loads of carpentry and finish carpentry type projects. Along with that there are a lot of general handyman type tasks, hanging light fixtures, etc.
  
  We are happy to provide a furnished room with a shared bathroom, kitchen and laundry room. The castle has WiFi and you have use of all the living spaces.
  
  There is not public transportation to us. We are out in the gorgeous countryside, just a few kilometers from a large lake. This is best suited for people with their own transportation. The closest airport is Toulouse, the closest train station is Carmaux.
  
  In Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val (village) - I am looking for someone to help with checking in guests. This is a very small job, most likely 5 to 7 hours per week in total. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to check in a guest in the afternoons / early evenings. I need someone who can speak conversational French. Great if you speak English, but the majority of my guests are French. We provide a furnished bedroom with ensuite bathroom, you have full use of kitchen, laundry and living spaces.
  
  As with the above role, there is no public transportation. The closes train station is going to be Lexos or Caussade. The village is very walkable with two grocery stores, an épicerie, two boulangeries, loads of restaurants, cafe's, etc. This is a very touristy area with great hiking and biking.

  We are in a beautiful region of France with walking trails and bicycle routes. Surrounded by other medieval villages, there is much to enjoy about our area.
  
  Our location is suitable for people who have their own transportation. You really need your own transportation in our area. It gives you the freedom to explore the region on your days off.
