  Beschreibung

  We are an Indian couple living in the Netherlands since more than a year. We are looking for someone to help us with our 2 year old son. We live in a rowhouse in Amstelveen with super-easy access to Amsterdam (less than 30 mins by bus). We are also close to the main tourist spots in the Netherlands with good logistic connections at a 5 minute walking distance.
  
  Our ideal workawayer is someone who loves interacting with toddlers and enjoys leading an active lifestyle. Double bonus if you have previous experience helping with toddlers and have a background in art or sport. We are looking for a workawayer who is fun loving, respectful of the shared living space and can introduce us to their own culture.

  We are an Indian couple, living in the Netherlands since more than a year. Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands is at your doorstep to explore and experience.
  
  Your experience with us:
  - we can teach you how to cook delicious Indian cuisine from scratch
  - Have the unique experience of experience both Indian and Dutch culture at the same time
  - Explore the beautiful country of Netherlands and its lovely canals
  - Popular cities like Haarlem, Leiden, Utrecht, The Hague are all easily accessible by public transport. We also visit these places often so you can always hitch a ride with us.
  
  Our interests:
  - We have lived in other countries, have been lucky to a global exposure since early working life and have friends all over the world
  - We love travelling and have travelled to 15+ countries so far
  - We are outgoing and love a good conversation over a glass of wine
  - Our favorite excursion is a wildlife safari and on good weather days you will often find us in Amsterdamse Bos (a landscape park 10 mins away from our home)

  Arbeit

  We live in a 3 storey house with a garden. We are looking to welcome a workawayer to help us with chores and childcare (2 year old boy). We prefer someone who can stay with us for a minimum of 4 weeks.
  
  Cooking and childcare will be your primary responsibilities. However we would also like help with some other housekeeping and general maintenance tasks sometimes.
  
  Some of the areas that we would like help with are listed below. You will help for no more than 5 hours a day (5 days a week).
  
  Childcare:
  - Play with and supervise our 2 year old
  - Help him with meal times
  - Accompanying him to local parks and ensuring his safety
  - Organizing creative, fine and gross motor activities for him
  - Accompanying the family during day trips (this is not compulsory and we are ok if you prefer not to)
  
  General Help around the house:
  - Tidying up child areas / kitchen
  - Being of assistance in the house such as answering the door, helping with meal times and clearing up
  - Laundry
  
  We are looking for someone who can help with a combination of the above tasks for approximately 25 hours a week.

  Unterkunft

  Accommodation
  You get a private room with a bed and wardrobe in our home. You will also have access to a toilet and shower which will be used mostly by you.
  
  You have access to the kitchen as long as you clean-up after yourself and leave the kitchen tidy. We will often share meals, although this is not always possible. The grocery store is only a 7 minute walk away and you can buy anything you like and store it in our fridge (within reason). We are open to arrange a work desk if you need one.
  
  Food restrictions:
  Please do not bring red meat or fish inside the home. We are largely vegetarian but can be okay with chicken and prawns.

  Was noch ...

  During your off time, you are free to explore Amsterdam's beautiful canals, enjoy the art museums and also travel to nearby cities like the Hague, Leiden, Utrecht, Haarlem etc. These are all under an hour to travel to. You can also easily travel to Belgium, France and Germany through low-cost bus and air services that depart from Amsterdam.
  
  We have a car and prefer driving trips as well so might be an option to take a trip together if it works out :).
