  Hello everyone!
  My name is Caterina.
  I live in a flat by Lake Como, that I sometimes rent to tourists for a couple of days just to earn a little extra that allows me to dedicate more to my poorly paid job.
  I love this area but I see it can be expensive for youngsters traveling, so I would be glad to offer accommodation for short periods in exchange for a little help to keep the flat clean and tidy, help me in the garden and walk my dog when I'm not home

  I will be very happy to show you around when I can, I will introduce you to my friends at the youth hostel, who organize free trips in the area, and I can offer you a discount on my Italian courses (or you can get it for free in a competence exchange)

  Arbeit

  I mostly need help to look after the garden and, when I am away, the dog.
  I will also appreciate some help cleaning the house but not more than if we just lived together: we will all make sure that the house stays clean.
  I am also planning on building a compost toilet so that kind of help will be highly appreciated!
  If you have any marketing skills, we can have some competence exchange: I will teach you Italian or offer you a group course for free, in exchange for some tutoring in marketing and social media management.
  I can't tell you a specific amount of hours, I'm not strict if you're not: there might be tasks that can be procrastinated, but others that need to be taken care of straight away. It all depends on common sense.
  For example, if I ask you to help me water the plants you will need to do it in the morning, but if you need to prune the tomatoes you can do it whenever you like.
  Frida (my dog) needs to be fed twice a day and to have good walk once a day, but these times are quite flexible.
  Everything can be discussed so as to find the best solutions for everybody!

  Unterkunft

  Depending on the duration fo your stay and on the period, you might have a small private room outside the house (that is why I want to build a compost toilet), or a bed in a shared room inside the house.
  There is also a sofa-bed if you and the other person prefer to have a bit more privacy, and in that case we can arrange the living room in order to give you some personal space.

  Was noch ...

  This is an amazing spot in the world, with great hikes or cycling paths.
  It's great for nature lovers, and there's some sort of night life - a very simple one, but I enjoy it.
  The local hostel is fantastic to meet fellow travellers or to socialize with locals.
