Do you enjoy renovations, painting, design, construction, or gardening, and would you like to use these skills to explore the most beautiful city in Bolivia?
Jupapina is located 30 minutes from downtown La Paz. It's a hidden valley with stunning mountain views, including "La Muela del Diablo" (The Devil's Tooth), and serves as a gateway to the municipality of Mecapaca and the Valencia area. This beautiful view could be the first thing you see every morning.
The country house where Tulúz (my cat) and I live is conveniently located near the Puma Katari bus stop and has direct access to the main avenue for other public transportation.
I'm a quiet person who needs help with house renovations, plant care, and garden improvements. Sometimes I also need help looking after my cat when I'm away. We are looking for honest people who love peace and quiet and the good life. We appreciate good food, especially if you enjoy cooking, reading, and having deep conversations. We are not against alcohol or cigarettes, but we do not condone excessive consumption of either, or of drugs or psychotropic substances.
I am also a beginner in Yoga, try to practice every day. If you are good at it we can practice together.
I personally volunteer in other countries through Workaway, and based on that experience, I want to give back what I have found in other countries. Therefore, I hope to accompany you to discover my country.

¿Te gusta la renovación, la pintura, el diseño, la construcción o la jardinería y quieres que estas cualidades te permitan conocer la ciudad más hermosa de Bolivia?
Ayudame a renovar mi casa en Jupapina, en el sur de la ciudad de La Paz, en Bolivia.
Jupapina es una zona ubicada a 30 minutos del centro de la ciudad de La Paz. Es un vallecito escondido con unas vistas muy hermosas de las montañas entre ellas "La muela del diablo", y es el paso intermedio para el municipio de Mecapaca y la zona de Valencia. Esa hermosa vista podría ser lo primero que ves todos los días en la mañana.
La casita de campo está muy bien ubicada cerca de la parada del Bus Puma Katari y tiene acceso directo a la avenida para tomar cualquier otro transporte público.
Soy una persona tranquila que requiere ayuda con la remodelación de la casa, el cuidado de las plantas y mejora del jardín. Busco personas honestas que estén buscando un tiempo de paz y un viaje de aprendizajes culturales y del buen vivir. Que disfruten de la buena comida, mejor si les gusta cocinar, leer y tener conversaciones profundas. No soy enemiga del alcohol o el cigarro, pero no disfruto del consumo excesivo de ello, tampoco de drogas u otros estimulantes.
También soy principiante en yoga, intento practicar todos los días. Si se te da bien, podemos practicar juntos. Me gusta explorar y conocer terapias alternativas, tradicionales y no tradicionales. Llevo algunos años trabajando en ayuda social y vida siempre ha encontrado sentido cuando ayudo a otras personas.
Yo misma realizo voluntariados en otros países gracias a mi carrera y también con WorkAway y en base a esa experiencia quiero retribuir lo que yo misma he encontrado en otros países, por eso espero poder acompañarte a que conozcas mi país.

The main attraction of this collaboration is the opportunity to explore La Paz and its tourist attractions. Starting with the Valley of the Moon, which is just a few minutes from the house. You can also take a scenic aerial tour of the entire city, crossing from the southern zone to El Alto by cable car. With advance planning, I can also take you to nearby areas to discover beautiful landscapes of the city, such as the Hidden Lagoon, the Valley of the Souls, and many city parks, all with breathtaking views.
On free time before or after work, you can enjoy relaxing time in the pacific garden swinging on the hammock, or enjoy an amazing starry night. You can also take long walks around the neighborhood.
We can practice our languages and learn a lot about the art, culture, and history of our countries. There will always be an interesting conversation.

El principal atractivo de esta colaboración es la posibilidad de conocer La Paz y sus atractivos turísticos. Empezando por el Valle de la Luna que se encuentra a unos minutos de casa. También puedes hacer el tour cruzando desde la zona sur hasta El Alto en Teleférico. Y programando con un poco de tiempo puedo también llevarte a zonas cercanas para conocer rincones hermosos de la ciudad como la Laguna Escondida, El Valle de las Animas y muchos parques de la ciudad, todos con vistas maravillosas.
En el tiempo libres puedes descansar en el jardín, mecerte en la hamaca o disfrutar de increíbles noches estrelladas desde el jardín. También puedes hacer largas caminatas por los alrededores que tienen muy buenas vistas.
Podemos practicar nuestros idiomas y aprender mucho de arte, cultura e historia de nuestros países. Siempre habrá una charla interesante.
Arbeit
We need help with home renovations, especially painting the walls, move, repair or refurbish wooden furniture. We also have a small garden that needs maintenance and improvement. We hope that professional or trained volunteers can support the implementation of a rainwater harvesting system or some new solar energy technology. We'd prefer creative and proactive WorkAwayers who are willing to contribute ideas, help with their hands, and have a great attitude. We're looking for people who are truly committed to the environment.
Guests could carry out the agreed tasks at the times they deem necessary during the week, and may have two full days off per week.

Requerimos ayuda con la renovación de la casa, especialmente con la pintura de paredes, mover y renovar muebles. También contamos con un jardín pequeño pero que requiere mantenimiento y mejora. Esperamos que voluntarios profesionales o capacitados puedan apoyar en la implementación de un sistema de recolección de agua de lluvia o alguna nueva tecnología de energía solar. Daremos preferencia a WorkAwayers creativas/os y proactivos dispuestos a aportar ideas, a trabajar con las manos y con muy buena onda. Personas verdaderamente comprometidas con el medio ambiente.
Los invitados podrán desarrollar las tareas requeridas y acordadas en los tiempos y días de la semana que ellos vean convenientes pudiendo tener dos días libres a la semana.

I speak English and love to practice every day, also open to lear any other language and teach spanish in exchange.
Unterkunft
You'll have a private room with a shared bathroom. You'll also have access to the rest of the house and the garden, which includes a large hammock. You can use the kitchen to prepare your meals and the washing machine.
I use to cook every day for lunch when I am at home, breakfast and lunch will be provided. I am not a vegetarian. Also the kitchen is open to use to prepare your own meal.

Podrás usar una habitación privada con baño compartido. También tendrás acceso al resto de la casa y el jardín con una gran hamaca. Puedes usar la cocina para preparar tus alimentos y la lavadora.
En casa siempre hay café y desayuno. Yo cocino todos los días que me quedo en casa. Por tanto, el almuerzo y desayuno también están previstos para los voluntarios. También la cocina está siempre disponible para que puedas preparar tus propios alimentos. No soy vegetariana.

The house is monitored by security cameras and has internet access and all basic services. We have local neighbors with whom you'll likely have the opportunity to interact. If you're interested in other ecotourism exchanges, I'd be happy to help you arrange them.
