  Over 20 years ago, we settled in this former wine estate near the Thau lagoon. Since then, our family has been restoring this beautiful place with passion, bringing it back to life with the rhythm of the seasons.
  
  Once covered in vineyards and wheat fields, it has now become a lush garden where chickens, rabbits, donkeys, guinea pigs and pigeons coexist. We have planted fruit trees, and our vegetable garden provides us with fresh produce all summer long.
  
  Throughout the year, and especially in summer, we love welcoming family and friends, often gathering around the pool and the outdoor kitchen. Our 7-hectare estate, located just 2 km from Mèze, between Montpellier and Béziers, is a true haven of peace. The Thau lagoon, rich in biodiversity and culinary traditions, is famous for its oysters and mussels, and we enjoy sharing these local treasures with our guests.
  
  Our daily life follows the rhythm of the seasons:
  
  In winter and spring, we carry out various maintenance work.
  
  In the warmer months, we take care of the garden and the animals that are part of our home.
  
  We are happy to welcome Workaway volunteers who wish to share this adventure with us. In exchange for a helping hand, we provide accommodation and meals. The minimum stay is one week, alone or with a companion.
  
  Our “little paradise” is a peaceful retreat, but also a lively one. We love sharing a drink at the end of the day and introducing our guests to Mediterranean recipes. We speak French, English, and Arabic fluently, and we can get by in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian! 😊

  Il y a plus de 20 ans, nous avons posé nos valises dans cet ancien mas viticole près de l’étang de Thau. Depuis, notre famille restaure ce lieu avec passion, lui redonnant vie au fil des saisons.
  
  Autrefois couvert de vignes et de champs de blé, il est aujourd’hui un jardin verdoyant où cohabitent poules, lapins, ânes, cobayes et pigeons. Nous avons planté des arbres fruitiers, et notre potager nous offre des légumes tout l’été.
  
  Tout au long de l’année, et particulièrement en été, nous aimons accueillir famille et amis, souvent réunis autour de la piscine et de la cuisine d’été. Notre domaine de 7 hectares, situé à 2 km de Mèze, entre Montpellier et Béziers, est un véritable havre de paix. Riche en traditions et en biodiversité, le bassin de Thau est réputé pour ses huîtres et ses moules, et nous apprécions partager ces trésors locaux avec nos invités.
  
  Notre quotidien suit le rythme des saisons :
  
  En hiver et au printemps, nous effectuons divers travaux d’entretien.
  
  Aux beaux jours, nous prenons soin du jardin et des animaux qui font partie de notre vie.
  
  Nous accueillons volontiers des bénévoles Workaway souhaitant partager cette aventure avec nous. En échange d’un coup de main, nous offrons le gîte et le couvert. Le séjour minimum est d’une semaine, seul ou accompagné.
  
  Notre « petit paradis » est un lieu paisible, mais aussi convivial. Nous aimons partager un verre en fin de journée et faire découvrir nos recettes méditerranéennes. Nous parlons français, anglais et arabe couramment, et nous nous débrouillons en espagnol, portugais et italien ! 😊

  Our estate welcomes many people throughout the year. Joining us also means adopting a lifestyle punctuated by exchanges and sharing, such as outdoor meals in the summer kitchen, visits from other travelers, or even our friends!

  Notre domaine accueille beaucoup de monde, tout au long de l'année. Nous rejoindre c'est aussi adopter un rythme de vie ponctué d'échanges et de partage, comme les repas extérieurs dans la cuisine d'été, les visites d'autres voyageurs ou encore de nos amis !

  We love spending our days gardening, tinkering, and caring for animals.
  Noureddine, who is passionate about animals, takes loving care of his donkeys, rabbits, and chickens every day. Najat, for her part, enthusiastically devotes herself to decorating, gardening, and art.
  At the farmhouse, there's always something to do: mowing the grass, feeding the animals, repairing a fence or a stone wall... We would love to welcome you to share our daily life, tinker together, and meet wonderful people in this idyllic setting.
  If you have any special skills, please let us know. We will tailor the tasks to suit your interests!

  Nous aimons passer nos journées à jardiner, bricoler et prendre soin des animaux.
  Noureddine, passionné par les animaux, s’occupe chaque jour avec attention de ses ânes, lapins et poules. Najat, quant à elle, se consacre avec enthousiasme à la décoration, au jardinage et à l’art.
  Au mas, il y a toujours quelque chose à faire : tondre l’herbe, nourrir les animaux, réparer une clôture, monter un mur en pierre… Nous serions ravis de vous accueillir pour partager notre quotidien, bricoler ensemble et faire de belles rencontres dans ce cadre de vie idyllique.
  Si vous avez des compétences particulières, n’hésitez pas à nous en faire part. Nous adapterons les tâches en fonction de vos centres d’intérêt !

  You will be staying on the top floor of the main house, which has private bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and a beautiful terrace. Meals will generally be taken together, in the house in winter and in the summer kitchen during the summer.

  Nature and outdoor recreation lovers will be spoiled for choice! Among the many possibilities: hiking, walks around the Thau lagoon, swimming on the beaches of Mèze, Sète, Frontignan, or Marseillan, not to mention exploring natural sites like Lake Salagou. In summer, the small town of Mèze is particularly pleasant, offering a peaceful atmosphere by the lagoon.
  
  To make getting around easier, we provide bicycles for your use. You can also reach Sète and Montpellier by bus from Mèze (approximately a 30-minute journey).

  Amoureux de nature et de loisirs en plein air, vous aurez l’embarras du choix ! Parmi les nombreuses possibilités : randonnées, balades autour de l’étang de Thau, baignades sur les plages de Mèze, Sète, Frontignan ou Marseillan, sans oublier la découverte de sites naturels comme le lac du Salagou. En été, la petite ville de Mèze est particulièrement agréable, offrant une atmosphère paisible au bord de l’étang.
  
  Pour faciliter vos déplacements, nous mettons un vélo à votre disposition. Vous pourrez également rejoindre Sète et Montpellier en bus depuis Mèze (environ 30 minutes de trajet).
