Beschreibung
Routine is definitely not part of our day to day life! I work 3 days a week out of town and the 2 others from home while Jean-Philippe can be called to work as firefighter at anytime, 24/7. This didn’t prevent us to grow our family : 3 big ones to share with our curiosity and love of life.
Bromont is very well located : it is one hour by car or by bus from Montréal and Sherbrooke. If you enjoy nature, bike, horseback riding or running, you’ll like to access to more than 100km of multifunctional trails right from our place. There is always something to do nearby : paddle board, water slides, mountain bike, golf, spa, many free music shows and much more!
We have a cat and are non smokers. We enjoy improvised parties with our friends and their kids; we are very inclusive.
Good to know: our mother tongue is French, so our daily life is in this language.

We already welcomed travelers from France, Belgium, Italy, Australia and United States and what they liked the most was how we included them in our day to day life, inviting them to join us to eat, to get out on special activities, introducing them to other of our friends, help them to visit our place as locals do, ect.
We visited many countries such as France, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Guatemala, Brasil, Thaïland, Vietnam…
We are generous of our time and tips and curious about other cultures.
It can only be rewarding!

Arbeit
As we both work my husband and I, we would appreciate help with cooking and cleaning. Our kids are now older (8, 12 and 14 years old in 2025) and require less attention.
During the summer, you can expect to start your day by cooking a lunch for the kids and entertain the youngest one for the afternoon. Your help would also be useful around the house with the garden. In addition, because we have a swimming pool, you must know how to swim : )
During school time, your help will be appreciated from about 2 pm to 6 pm, from Monday through Thursday to garden or do basic household, prepare the diner, manage kid’s homework and lunch boxes.

Unterkunft
One bedroom downstairs with plenty of natural light in the morning (the window is oriented to the East).
Accomodation includes a single size bed or queen sized model, storage for your belongings and free wi-fi.
In our backyard, we have a swimming pool, hammocks, a fireplace and woods.
We can share our bike and camping equipment.
You would have access to the kitchen and to all the ingredients required to cook your own meals when you want or to share ours. Your participation to the food selection by adding stuff you would like to eat to the cart will be welcomed.
