  We run a research-based Islamic boarding school that prioritizes character education and talent development for the last 11 years. Located in a beautiful area of Lombok near Mataram, we teach the values of life in harmony with nature, develop practical skills, and provide a deep spiritual experience. We open opportunities for volunteers to contribute to social activities, education, and environmental management. We have around 200 students aged between 12-18 year old. Join us to share knowledge and be part of this inspiring journey!

  We believe that every encounter is an opportunity to learn. We welcome Workawayers not just as guests, but as part of our extended family. You will live with a team of teachers and children studying here, all of whom live in a spirit of togetherness and simplicity. The activities we do here are as follows:
  
  - Teaching and learning
  - Cooking and eating together
  - Learning about Islam such as daily prayers, reading Coran, interpretation, fiqh, and morals
  - Gardening, chicken feeding, and other nature activities.
  
  We are also ready to share knowledge and experiences about:
  - Education
  - Organic farming and simple life skills
  - Local spiritual values and sustainable living. We are also open to discussion and learning together — because we believe that everyone brings something valuable to share.

  Arbeit

  We invite Workawayers who have the spirit of sharing and learning to join our activities. What do Workawayers do?
  
  - Education and teaching: For those of you who are interested in education or language, you can help students in teaching and learning activities. Since most of our classes are in Indonesian language, we encourage English and Arabic speakers to join us! Don't worry if you don't have a lot of experience yet, you will join the classes with our teachers team.
  
  - Environmental Management: We are very concerned about environmental sustainability, you will be involved in environmental maintenance activities such as gardening and caring for plants.
  
  - Creative and social activities: We also invite those of you who have artistic skills or other creative activities to share knowledge and skills with our students- such as painting handicrafts, and music. This is a fun way to connect culture and creativity with everyday life here.
  
  - Spiritual and social learning: In addition to practical skills, we also invite workawayers to share spiritual experiences, discuss life values, and accompany social activities that are beneficial to the center. We are an Islamic Boarding School teaching Islamic values, but we welcome other people from various cultures and religions as long as there is respect and understanding from each other. We believe that working together will enrich the learning experience for everyone.
  
  You will not only do your tasks independently, but also have the opportunity to collaborate with students and teachers at the Boarding School.

  We provide simple yet comfortable accommodation inside the Boarding School, it is suitable for the dormitory living experience. We can offer :

  We present life values that are open to cross-cultural collaboration. We highly value the exchange of ideas, skills, and life stories. This is the right place for those of you who want to be directly involved with children, nature activities, and a simple but meaningful lifestyle.
  Some important things to know:
  - Dress Code : Since we are an Islamic Boarding School, we have a strict dress code volunteers need to follow. Please wear long sleeves and long trousers/skirts. Women should wear a bra and no revealing cleavage.
  - We are located in a rural area but there are plenty of shops and street food nearby. Mataram city centre is around 15 minutes away.
  - Your volunteering schedule can be flexible, but we value commitment and responsibility.
  - We are open to creative ideas and projects from Workawayers, such as art, organic farming, educational games, or small workshops.
  - The daily language we use is Indonesian, but some of our staff can help with English. This is also a great opportunity for those of you who want to learn Indonesian! We also have a lot of teachers speaking arabic fluently.
  
  We appreciate your ideas, skills and life stories. This is the right place for those who want to be directly involved with children, nature activities and a simple but meaningful lifestyle.
