  Hello future friends and helpers!
  We are Nicole and Fio. Nicole is a yoga teacher and Fio is a practitioner of alternative medicine (Heilpraktiker). Together, we live a simple, beautiful, and sustainable life right in the middle of a peaceful olive grove near a small village close to Petalidi, Messenia.
  
  ​Our property is tucked away in nature, yet it offers a breathtaking, beautiful view of the Messenian Gulf. From the grove, you can look out over the olive trees straight onto the blue sea. We love nature and hands-on projects. We live in a cozy yurt and have built our entire off-grid infrastructure ourselves—including a wooden shed, a fully functional outdoor kitchen, an outdoor shower with hot water, a dry composting toilet, and our own biological wastewater treatment system. If you are looking for an authentic, nature-connected, and inspiring off-grid experience in Greece with amazing sea views, you will love it here!
  
  Our main focus starts around October 23rd, when the magical olive harvest season begins! We are looking for nature-loving friends who want to experience a traditional Greek olive harvest. We prefer helpers who can stay with us for 2 to 3 weeks, or gladly longer if everything works out well.
  
  ​To keep things relaxed and enjoyable, we use a very fair schedule: 3 days of work followed by 3 days off. On your days off, you will have plenty of time to visit the local olive mill, explore the beautiful beaches and surroundings of Petalidi, or just unwind and enjoy the stunning view of the Messenian Gulf from the shade of the trees.
  
  Outside the harvest season, we always have exciting smaller DIY and construction projects going on. If you enjoy practical work, you can help us with tasks like:
  ​Roofing and caravan covers
  ​Electrical installations
  ​Building wooden terraces
  ​Expanding sheds and farm infrastructure
  
  ​A little extra: If everything goes well and we work smoothly as a team, we are happy to share the fruits of our labor with you. You will receive some of our high-quality olive oil to take with you, as well as some pocket money!
  
  To make the best use of our space, we prefer couples, but solo travelers are also very welcome! For your accommodation, we offer two options:
  ​You can sleep in our comfortable caravan on-site.
  ​If you are vanlifers, we have two beautiful parking spots for campervans or motorhomes right inside the olive grove.
  ​You will have access to our self-built outdoor kitchen, hot shower, and composting toilets.
  
  We love spending time outdoors and cooking fresh, high-quality, and nutritious meals in our outdoor kitchen. We look forward to sharing stories, working hard as a team, and enjoying the peaceful Greek nature together.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Our olive grove is not far from the beautiful Polylimnio waterfalls and the Oxbelly Bay. We are surrounded by a blossoming nature that invites you to hike and walk. The various beaches, sand, pebbles, stone can be reached by car or bike (about 10 km away). You can learn the traditional olive harvest with us and of course you can take part in the oil pressing.
  
  Unser Olivenhain liegt nicht weit entfernt von den wunderschönen Polylimnio Wasserfällen sowie der Ochsenbauchbucht. Wir sind umgeben von einer aufblühenden Natur die zum wandern und zum spazieren gehen einlädt. Die verschiedenartigen Strände, Sand, Kies, Stein sind mit dem Auto oder dem Fahrrad zu erreichen(ca 10km Entfernung)
  Sie lernen bei uns die traditionelle Olivenernte und können natürlich beim Ölpressen dabei sein.

  It's almost that time again; our olive trees are bearing fruit and are ready to be harvested in October.
  
  October 2026 Olive Harvest:
  
  We have room for two people in our caravan and we have room for two camper van.
  We are also looking for someone who would like to cook for everyone during our harvest season.
  
  And this is how we harvest in October/ November:
  25nd/26rd/27th Harvest

  All year round:
  -Expansion or improvement of the island solar system (it would be nice if you know about electrical things)

  Unterkunft

  We offer space for 2 people in our caravan, with an warm outdoor shower and dry toilet. There is a solar power system for electricity. We also offer WiFi on our property. We also offer 2 parking spaces for vans and camper.
  
  Food is of course provided. Whether vegetarian or vegan, we are happy to accommodate our guests' wishes, we cook traditional Greek dishes with local products and of course our own olive oil. Drinks are also provided, of course. There are also snacks and plenty of fruit in between.
  
  We will also go shopping together and cook together, here you can cook your own dish with us in our specially designed outdoor kitchen.
  
  
  
  Wir bieten Platz für 2 Personen in unserem Wohnwagen, warme Außendusche und Trockentrenntoilette. Für die begrenzte Stromversorgung gibt es ein Solarstromsystem. Wir bieten auch w-lan auf unserem Grundstück.
  Außerdem bieten wir 2 Stellplätze für Vans oder Kastenwägen.
  
  Für Essen wird natürlich gesorgt. Ob Vegetarisch oder Vegan, wir richten uns da sehr gerne nach den Wünschen unserer Gäste, wir kochen traditionelle griechische Gerichte mit Produkten aus der Region und natürlich unserem eigenen Olivenöl. Für Getränke wird natürlich auch gesorgt. Für Zwischendurch gibt es natürlich auch Snacks so wie reichlich Obst.
  Wir werden auch einmal gemeinsam einkaufen so wie gemeinsam kochen, hier kannst du dein eigenes Gericht in unserer extra dafür angelegten Außenküche mit uns zusammen kochen.

  Was noch ...

  If you are looking for activity as well as peace and quiet: The next larger city - Kalamata - with cultural offerings as well as an interesting nightlife can be reached in 45 minutes by car. A very interesting archaeological site that is not yet so well known is Ancient Messene, about 45 minutes away.
  
  
  Wenn du neben der Ruhe auch Aktivität suchst: Die nächstgrößere Stadt -Kalamata- mit kulturellen Angeboten so wie einem interessanten Nachtleben ist in 45 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen.
  Eine sehr interessante Ausgrabungsstätte die noch nicht so bekannt ist, ist das Alte Messene, ca 45 Minuten entfernt.

  Platz zum Abstellen von Camper Vans

  Da die Straße zu unserem Olivenhain sehr eng ist, ist es nur für Kastenwägen bis 6,4m möglich auf unser Grundstück zu gelangen. Auf unserem Grundstück kannst du mitten im Olivenhain stehen und natürlich Strom begrenzt, Frischwasser tanken und Grauwasser entsorgen, aber kein Schwarzwasser.
