Located at 20 km south ouest of Lyon, Thurins is a little village.
Thurins is a small village located at the foot of the Monts du Lyonnais. Our house is part of the old family farm. My grandparents were fruit producers. In fact, we have a small farm campsite in the middle of the cherry orchard. We love everything related to nature. For the past 2 years, I have placed 1 then 2 beehives, hoping to multiply them this year to reach 4. I would like to organize the surroundings into a park suitable for my bees. From Thurins, Lyon is accessible by bus, allowing easy access to the city. Numerous hiking trails and mountain biking paths are in the area.
Situé à 20 km au sud ouest de Lyon, en pleine campagne, Thurins est un petit village situé au pied des Monts du Lyonnais.
Notre maison fait partie de l'ancienne ferme familiale. Mes grands-parents étaient producteurs de fruits. D'ailleurs, nous avons un petit camping à la ferme au milieu de la ceriseraie.
Nous aimons tout ce qui a attrait à la nature. Depuis 2 ans j'ai mis 1 puis 2 ruches en espérant les multiplier cette année pour arriver à en avoir 4. J'aimerais organiser les alentours en parc propice pour mes abeilles.
De Thurins, Lyon est accessible en bus ce qui permet un accès à la ville facilement.
De nombreux sentiers pédestres et piste de vélo tout terrain sont aux alentours.

Sharing meals together is important to discuss our lifestyle habits and share our different cultures.
We do not ask our volunteers to work with our clients. The help of our volunteers is only for our personal garden. There is no exchange of money between them and us. We remain in a family setting and generally, our volunteers become an integral part of the family, which they appreciate.
Partager les repas ensemble est important pour échanger sur nos habitudes de vie et partager nos cultures différentes.
Nous ne demandons pas à nos volontaires un travail auprès de nos clients.
L'aide de nos volontaires est uniquement pour notre jardin personnel.
Il n'y a pas d'échange d'argent entre eux et nous.
Nous restons dans un cadre familial et généralement, nos volontaires font partie intégrante de la famille ce qu'ils apprécient

Arbeit
This year, we need volunteers to help us for picking cherries (during the season of June) in our property and making jam, also helping in the garden.
During lunch meals, we all share it together which allows us to get to know each other a little better while also exchanging our culture and that of our volunteers.
In the evening, the campsite kitchen is open and you can cook for yourself based on the food made available.
Cette année nous avons besoin de volontaires pour nous aider à ramasser nos cerises (pendant la saison de juin) et faire de la confiture ; ainsi que nous aider dans l'entretien du parc.
Durant les repas du déjeuner, nous le partageons tous ensemble ce qui permet de nous connaitre un peu mieux à la fois d'échanger avec notre culture et celle de nos volontaires.
Le soir, la cuisine du camping est ouverte et vous pouvez vous cuisiner en fonction de la nourriture mis à disposition.

You have buses nearby to visit the city of Lyon. The Car du Rhône 2 Ex line runs from Gorge de Loup station to Chazelle-sur-Lyon. Stop: "Thurins-le-Pont". The TCL 11 line runs from Oullins station to Thurins Town Hall. Stop: "Thurins-le-Pont".
