  We have a cozy home on 5 acres on Quadra Island that is surrounded by lush rainforest, mountains, lakes and natural beauty.
  Our home is peaceful. We love good music and family time. It is just the two of us at home now but our boys visit often. We have a very neurotic and stinky (but cute) dog, 2 cats and a flock of chickens that varies in size. Sheep and turkeys on occasion.
  We eat organic food - a little meat mostly veg. Our home is scent free (other than 100% natural scents) due to health reasons this is needs to apply for anyone staying here.
  There is a large organic garden and greenhouse. Last year we had over 50 tomato plants as well as peppers, eggplants, cucumbers & basil in there as well. We grow a lot of vegetables, raspberries, blueberries, hazelnuts, garlic, lots of medicinal plants and flowers.
  There are lots of outdoor activities to do. We are located minutes from the ocean and there is also a chain of beautiful lakes nearby.
  We live 30 minutes away from any stores, but are surrounded by forest and natural beauty. Because we live so far away from shops/people you would need to be comfortable with your own company and in nature.
  Our home and property are beyond the fire protection district and have 100% no smoking on our property at all times.
  We would prefer to not have pets coming here, but if you have a well behaved friend that won't chase other animals then we can chat.

  Our home is located in a naturally beautiful part of the world. We are happy to share our skills with organic gardening, herbal medicine, woodworking, kayaking as well as our knowledge of the area.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for help with our garden and land as well as the many projects we may be involved in at the time.
  We are expanding our garden area and will be building up new garden beds, hauling, weeding, fencing and digging. For some reason always a lot of digging.
  There are endless farm chores, shared cooking, cleaning, refinishing furniture, pressure washing, fence repair... a lengthy list!

  Unterkunft

  We have an unfinished cabin (no power or water) that could be available or if that is the project we are working on we have a camper and tent available.
  We ask that you take care of your own meals, but do like to share meals occasionally as well.

  Was noch ...

  We are short walk to the ocean, have bikes, kayaks, and access to great hiking trails. There are no shops within walking distance - they are a 30 minute drive down a long windy dirt road. There are also very few people within walking distance so you will need to like your own company - but the people that you will find out here are pretty amazing.
  
  There are many lakes, rivers and beaches all around as well as mountains for exploring.
  
  Internet use is limited and access can be slow and spotty depending on the weather. We ask guests to use their own cellular data but we should have enough wifi to share.
  
  We live in the wilderness so we want people to know that and be comfortable with it. It is a magical place.
