  After living and working - running an NGO about organic vegetable gardening and food security- for 13 years in Cusco, we decided to go ‘off the grid’ and live remote and in harmony with nature. Since December 2021 we are living a new dream. We are taking care of 22 hectares in the Amazone Cloud forest, at 1,800 m.a.s.l. We learn by doing and try to turn this land into a conservation area. Early stage still, step by step.
  We are 2 Dutch women, in our early fifties.. We live here with our dogs, horses and cows. We are absolute do—ers and passionated and willing to learn each day. That’s why we are looking for people with the same mindset: passionated and motivated to share skills, ideas and efforts with us in this new adventure. We are looking for people to help us to work the Permaculture area.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We have local men helping us on the land. Furthermore we live in a very remote small Peruvian village. In the bigger town (Oxapampa) there is a lot to do for visitors.

• 

  Arbeit

  We are looking for experienced people interested in working in our vegetable garden, the permaculture way.
  Vegetable/fruits/herb garden, compost area. People who can exhange their skills and experiences also with us.

  Being independent and sharing skills and initiatives is what we are looking for.
  If you are a motivated ‘green’ handy-men or women who likes to live remote and work in harmony with nature and with us, this can be something for you.
  We are not looking for people who feel obligated to earn their ‘ housing ‘ by working for us in some kind of ‘employee’ or ‘ teacher- student’ relationship. We want to receive people who can commit a reasonable amount of time to the project (minimum 3 weeks) and share their experiences too.

  Was noch ...

  We live 30 minutes from Oxapampa (17 km). This is the bigger town. Our property is only accessible by motor or a high car (4x4 not necessary). We can offer you once a week a lift to town so you can buy your groceries.
  - There is public transport till 15 minutes from the property ( Chontabamba) after that you can take a moto-taxi (4-5 dollar) and walk the last 10 minutes towards the property.
  - There is a taxi- service till the entrance of the property, they charge 10 dollar to go to town or back.
