  This is a beautiful rural organic lifestyle equestrian property. Jo is a horsewoman who specialises in Connected Horsemanship & Liberty Riding, a Naturopath and teacher of self mastery. Now retired with Friesian horse’s, jo welcomes experienced, calm, conscious horsewomen to care for 2 Friesian horses & help on the organic farm gardens, property and sheep.
  Please only apply if you are an experienced horsewoman, have developed and wish to develop advanced connected horsemanship & Bitless/Liberty training skills. During these uncertain times we now offer a longer term opportunity to a horsewoman but I’m no longer accepting short term as it upsets the horses who need consistency, plus a lot of training is involved for this advanced responsible position 6 months min.
  There is a new s/c cottage w large deck for you plus a garden full of organic vegetables, plus pantry staples for the work exchange river swimming in summer
  Beach and forest riding and lessons in advanced connected horsemanship plenty of beach riding and offered in exchange further help around the organic farm. Please apply if you feel you match.

  Matakana and the Mahurangi area is known as a vibrant tourist destination with vineyards, white beaches, coastal walks, farmers market, boutique village w cinemas, cafes, shops.
  The Mahurangi River is on the property with swimming holes and waterfalls
  This is a 2 centre opportunity as we go up to Mangawhai to ride the big Te Arai ocean beach every fortnight for a few nights and stay at the luxury Soul sanctuary Retreat.
