We are an American family serving in Thailand the last 8 years and managing a Retreat Center for Missionaries.
We are a Non Profit Christian Retreat Center for Missionaries located in the Gulf of Thailand. We provide rest and respite for those serving in cross cultural countries. We have safe and peaceful beaches, warm weather with mountains, national parks and a friendly American/Thai staff.

Meet lots of missionaries from all over the world. Experience the beautiful Gulf of Thailand within just steps to the beach. Explore and delve into local life in a non touristy area with weather in December in the mid 20'sC/80's F. A rewarding experience giving children living overseas a memorable Christmas.

Arbeit
We are looking for 1-2 motivated, energetic and highly creative people who love kids and Christmas and have experience decorating, creating workshops, activities, DIY crafts and games for children of all ages. This would be centered around Christmas time. Our heart is to give the children of missionaries a feeling of Christmas holiday cheer being so far away from their home countries.
Preference to those who share the Christian Faith. References and back round check required. We are in a rural setting in nature with tropical temperatures. Non denominational non smoking/drinking facililty. This is for a 2-3 week stint over the Christmas/New Year Holiday. We are looking for activities for children to do in the afternoons and/or evenings. Approx. 4-5 hours a day, minus Sundays. Amount of children can vary based on guest occupancy, 10-20ish.

Unterkunft
Volunteers will have their own room with private bathroom and air con plus 3 buffet meals a day (mix of home made Western and Thai food) served in a community dining hall; minus one evening meal (Sat.) due to the local food market on Sat. nights avg. prices $2-3. Bicycles for borrow or motorbike for rent. Swimming Pool and free WIFI. Free self-serve laundry on site. Volunteers will have additional work space for craft planning/building/decorating. (Any craft material/decor brought in with volunteers can be reimbursed)

Walk along the serene beach, kayak/paddleboard, wind surfing, hiking, National Parks, elephants and wild life, food markets. Bicycles on site free to use, motorbikes to rent and we can help you book taxis. Only 3.5 hours from Bangkok aiports and 1 hour from a bigger town of Hua Hin which has shopping malls/waterparks/cinemas/hospital.
