Beschreibung
Hi! We are Viv and Paul. We live on a 1 hectare property in the Waipu hills 8 mins drive from the village. At the moment most of the tasks would be carpentry (chicken run and garden enclosure), gardening, fire wood, cleaning, a bit of website help and drawing plans of an as built garage if you happen to have cad skills.
We are a well travelled couple who enjoy the company of others. Retired now. Viv's hobbies are gardening and painting/art. Paul loves to read, play pickle ball and walk our beaches. We both like to travel. Riding our e-bikes is a big part of that. Previous employment included massage therapy / art /horticulture/ air crew /economist and a lot of odd jobs. -

This area is real New Zealand. Lovely and rural with great beaches nearby. Glow worm caves and waterfall a short drive away. Village with shops and cafes just 8 mins drive down the road. Beaches about 15mins drive. We are about 2 hrs north of Auckland CBD

Most of the tasks we have at present involves gardening, cleaning, light building and firewood. And a bit of painting if its your thing.

Recommended to all hosts. They eat anything except gluten, but it wasn't a problem.
Always cheerful and did every job we asked of her without complaint. We wish her well for the rest of her time in NZ and are sure she will do well as she has a very likeable personality.
During my stay I helped out in the garden, mostly weeding and wood gathering and a bit of veggie planting. Tasks were reasonable and well explained.
