Help with our artistic horse shows and our farm in Saint-Clement, France

  Beschreibung

  We are passionate of horses, we need help to feed, groom, maintain the stables and fences, ride and prepare the "summer horse show" (every Wednesday of July and august ) with others members of our association.
  We also nedd help in September to prepare a great horse rally with horses and riders coming from all over France. And we have also a show at the end of the month.
  No business help is requested from workawayers and help requested is only with a non-profit part of the project of the artitic horse show.
  In summer, we're looking for workawayers who have riding experience for the security and a good exchange (you'll have to be handle horse independently even young or stallion). In winter a handyman/woman who like to work out on fences or learn masonry tricks, like to tidy stools and stuffs... You can have a riding lesson or a ride in the forest each week.
  You can also help to create costumes in winter.
  It can be a complete formation if you come for a long stay, or an initiation of our methods if you stay a month.
  We can speack english, italian or little spanish and french of course. It's better for your stay if you can understand some words of french because all people here are not all speacking English. We prefer strangers to have a cultural exchange for us but we can also accept some french profile if we can exchange.
  We live in montain, winter is cold and wet, and the house is great to heat, you musn't be cautious. Our horse approach is based on horsemanship, riding bitless, you need to be adaptable and free minded to learn french dressage approach, using aswell positive and negative reinforcement, it's not modern dressage but artistic dressage so you'll have to be open mind because it changes really from the club horse riding...
  We have iberian horses, mountain horses, fresian horses and some ponies. We also breeds cats and have two dogs :) You can stay at our home in a guestroom, some time there are two or three volonteers, sometimes only you alone, so you have to be independent.
  We prepare food together, and take meal together except some winter evening .
  Workaway will permit us to welcome, meet and exchange with all-over the world horselovers! Also hope to meet and exchange with some artists in dance, music or other circus/ show abilities or just handyman who want to take some time in countryside :)
  
  Ps: The work is hard physically at the farm, so you have to be in good health and motivated, and we don't ride each day.

  Was ist das?

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Horse riding, training in dressage (high level), ethologic ground work, clicker traing, liberty, vault or cosak vault, riding outdoor, learn french, have an artistic experience, have a farm experience and a masonry or DIY work, or sewing creations.
  These exchanges depends of the season you come, your horse riding level and the length of your stay.

  Arbeit

  No business help is requested from workawayers and help requested is only with a non-profit part of the project of our association which the aim is artistic horse show.Feeding horse, groomming, maintain their stabbles, ride them.
  Train horses for the summer show and participate to the show if you come early in spring and stay 6 month, in orderto prepare and train yourself. Create costumes, scenery, music playlist...
  Maintain and make fences.
  Help for the house cleaning task and meal preparation.
  Help gardening and tinkering around house and the stabbles to make a more beautiful place.

  je souhaite approfondir mon Anglais, apprendre l'espagnole et repratiquer l'italien mais je veux bien aussi apprendre d'autres langues :)

  Unterkunft

  We offer all meal, we cook fresh vegetables and local meat, (we can buy vegetarian steack) , and fish from the weekly market. Food are prepared together, lunch and dinner are taken together, breackfast depend of each one rythm.
  You sleep in a dormitory guestroom in our big house with others volonteers sometimes but not mixed girl/boy.

  We can pick you up from the train station in Vichy. You can have horse riding lessons once a week, go to the village 15 min on walk, or the city 30min by bus or car.
