We are a married couple with two children ( now teenagers)
We have a large town house in a medieval southern Brittany town which we are slowly renovating.
We have plenty of room and lots of things to do in the house and the local area offers plenty of opportunity to relax and explore the beautiful Brittany countryside.
We are about forty minutes to the beaches around Vannes
Heimwerker- und Bauarbeiten
We are English but our house is nestled in a medieval town in southern Brittany. Our French is passable, perhaps better after a glass of the local wine. We have many French friends so opportunities to chat with the locals are extensive but perhaps a weekly visit to the local market , right on our door step will be a softer way to practice emerging language skills.
Happy also to pass on any building knowledge we have gained over the last ten or so years.
We are renovating an old French property in Malestroit, southern Brittany. We are looking for any help that anyone is willing to give, building skills would be a bonus but in no way essential.
A good attitude and a bit of joie de vivre will suffice!
We are not looking to work anyone to the bone but see this as a great way to help anyone wanting to travel and push on with our labour of love at the same time.
We have seven bedrooms now available so loads of room. We will offer food, a room and own bathroom. We are putting the finishing touches to a games room so pool and table football are also available as well as wifi and Apple TV.
Malestroit is a picture postcard French town nestled in southern Brittany and located on the Nantes to Brest canal and the river Oust.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside and cycle routes the town has its own weekly market. Free concerts in the town square every Friday night through the summer. Several bars and many restaurants. Our house is right in the centre of the town but with a large (currently unkempt) garden which stretches down to the canal and river.
