Help with an interesting ecological and social restoration project the city of Mulhouse, France

  Dear all, we are a family of 4 myself - Alexei & my wife - Evelyne both 36 and our to children Maxime 7 y.o. and Aline 3 y.o
  I am an engineer by studies, but I am now working full time on ecological and social project:
  Renovating an middle age building 300m2 in East of France (Alsace) with locally sourced materials that will serve to lodge immigrants families and young people with little resources in need of cheap accommodation.
  
  You will share (if you want) our family everyday life - no particular household tasks will be required - I need helpers, not servants :)

  We will speak French (or English or Russian if you want) and share meals together, we will work in place full of history (the building dates 1718) in one of the most touristic places in France - Alsace with it's wine route, the Vosges mountains with its' beautiful landscapes and hundreds of walking trails to enjoy them from the inside.
  
  During working time you will learn basic construction skills.
  During the WE you could visit the sightseeing using public transportation (very good connections) or borrow our electric car.

  Arbeit

  The renovation site is ca. 20 km from our place, we will get everyday to and from by car.
  I will mainly need help with all kinds of jobs that can be found on a construction site: from demolition, carpentry and masonry to plastering, painting and plumbing.
  There is nothing complicated and skills are coming with practice. If you don't know how to do - I will of course show.
  
  In addition we will cook and tidy the kitchen after the meal together.

  Unterkunft

  We live in a detached house in the best neighborhood of the city of Mulhouse (>100k inhabitants) it is very green and quite.
  You will have the best room of the house: 2nd floor under the roof with uncovered wooden beams open space area of ca 35 m2, overlooking the city. The room has its' own private bathroom. The room can easily fit 2-3 people or a family
  
  We have a large experience hosting passing by cyclists (usually for one night) and are quite active on warmshowers website.
