  My name is Ioannis, I was born in '86 in Athens. After living in Patra and Elefsina I ended up working as a Bio-medical engineer. I soon grew tired of the fast-paced city life and decided to move to a more compatible environment. Here in North Euboea I enjoy a more rural lifestyle and have more control over my resources. For the last 3 years I have been cultivating and caring for my own plot of land.
  
  My projects main aim is to be as autonomous as possible in terms of food production, water supply, energy needs and good social relationships. Financial I get by, by working odd jobs and hope to sustain myself from the land in the near future.
  
  I plan to host workshops on Regenerative Agriculture and Natural Building.

  Arbeit

  There are various different tasks to do depending on the season and availability of resources, workforce, etc. Generally the ongoing projects are as follows:
  
  1. Natural Building
  - The design and construction of a various structures including a Small Hut using mostly cob.
  - The construction of an Outdoor Kitchen Area.
  - Building a Shower Station
  and various other smaller infrastructure projects.
  
  2. Farming Side
  - Caring for the existing Olive Grove and the Fruit Orchard. Making compost, pruning, mulching, harvesting etc.
  - The establishment of No-Dig style Market Gardens.

  Unterkunft

  There is a renovated village house with all the modern comforts in the closest town, 6km from the project. Private room is offered with shared bathroom and kitchen. There is extra shared sleeping space for more volunteers if needed.
  There is also the option of camping style accommodation on site. This includes space for campervans also.
  All meals are provided and prepared together and of course at my cost. All diets are supported.

  There is a vast amount of nature around the surrounding area. Visitors can visit forested mountainous terrain, as well as beaches, waterfalls and hiking trails. The field is just down the road from a kite surfing hot spot and the famous hot springs of Aidipsos are only 30mins away.
