  We are Icelandic family of four looking for some extra help, We are a family living in Svalbarðseyri, a small and peaceful place just outside Akureyri in Iceland. We have two active and cheerful boys who are 6 and 7 years old.

  Living with us offers a chance to experience authentic Icelandic family life in a small, friendly community called Svalbarðseyri, just outside Akureyri in North Iceland.
  We enjoy spending time outdoors year-round, whether it's hiking, exploring nature, playing in the snow, or visiting nearby attractions. You'll have the opportunity to experience Icelandic traditions, holidays, local food, and everyday family life while becoming a valued member of our family.
  Akureyri, Iceland's second-largest town, is only a short drive away and offers cafés, shops, cultural events, museums, a swimming pool, and many opportunities to meet other au pairs and make new friends.
  We believe that cultural exchange goes both ways. We would love to learn about your culture, traditions, language, and favorite foods, and we hope to share many memorable experiences together as a family.

  Arbeit

  We would love to welcome you into our home and make you feel like a part of our family. We hope you will enjoy experiencing Icelandic culture, our beautiful surroundings, and everyday family life with us.
  Pick up the children after school (the school is only a 1-minute walk from our home).
  Spend time playing and doing activities with the children.
  Help with homework if needed.
  Prepare simple snacks or meals for the children.
  Help with the evening routine (dinner, bath if needed, bedtime).
  Light housekeeping related to the children
  (keeping their rooms and play areas tidy, children's laundry if needed).
  Occasionally help care for our friendly dog, Tinna.
  Drive the children when needed.
  We have read the local laws about aupair help.
