Hi! Welcome to our little piece of Paradise, where Yoga and Surf are a daily business!
We are strong believers that here you'll find a family and friendships that will last a lifetime. Our hostel is a place where you'll enjoy the company of travelers and other volunteers from all over the world! Our big choice of surfboards, our daily yoga classes, and our incredible atmosphere will make you want to stay with us forever. We want to create memories and moments that'll make you say ''Here is where I belong!''
Volunteers uniquely looking for cheap ways to travel are not welcome - we want volunteers who want to get involved, use their skills, and learn new skills!

The fishing village of Puerto Engabao where we chose to build our hostel is the perfect spot to mingle with locals and practice your Spanish. You will learn how to surf and have the chance to practice yoga every day in front of the ocean.

HELP AT THE RECEPTION FROM THE 2nd of JUNE TO THE END OF JUNE. ;)
All year long, we are looking for volunteers to join our family here in Ecuador as a SURF or YOGA TEACHER. Also, we are looking for VOLUNTEERS to help us at the reception and with our guests.
Your most important job will be to make our customers happy and feel welcome. In exchange for your help, you will have 2 healthy meals a day and accommodation in a volunteer dorm. Also, you have free access to our 20+ surfboards, daily yoga classes, as well as everything on our amazing property. Finally, you will have the chance to live right at the beach for a few months and make new friends! We have local staff working in our kitchen, and no volunteers need to work in our restaurant/kitchen.
We do not have a restaurant.
Also, we are looking for photographers!
Our local team includes 3 cleaning ladies/kitchen, 1 local cook, 2 maintenance guys, and 1 local surf teacher.

I had already volunteered with this host before my stay here, so I had high expectations here and it didnt disappoint me! They have such a great environment and I LOVED my month there with them. Great place to chill and surf while building great friendships. And don't worry they also know how to party.

Great experience! I stayed four weeks helping in the kitchen and had an amazing time. It sounds like a cliché but friends really do turn into family here. There's definitely not as much going on as in other surf cities in Ecuador but you'll definitely never get bored here. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the hostel in May and worked as a cook. It was my first WorkAway experience and it was great! I loved the place and the people. Ana and Daniel are great and definitely a place to work at if you want to meet a lot of people, party, chill, surf and do yoga. Hope to go back there some day!

Hands down, Veronika is one of the best volunteers we ever had!
She is very talented in woodwork, built an amazing bar at our hostel and a ton of other small projects (which we havent even asked for) that improved our hostel so much!

I helped with construction of the hostel. Cool, well thought out hostel, nice small fishing village with a fun smallish right point break and a beach break right out the front.
