  Beschreibung

  This is a small organic garden at the small lake, motor boat is not allowed. Here you can hear birds singing and see the beautiful sunsets. For workers away after 5 hours working/day, 5 days= 25 hours per week is what rules says in workaway, but if you get interested in more, it is ok, because I will do anyway more, because of our climate, when it is period without snow and minus degrees, that is time I need to do. Around at least once week also we make hot Finnish sauna. Lake is daily shower. My place is open only from spring /April until end of September or October. I have a cat, some chickens and cocks and 2 goats. About working, my opinion is it is more hobby or lifestyle, like do it your self (DIY,outsider). So what I do here: it can be almost a part of environmental art. Recycling things and to create something new from old. About small garden there is time to time to do things, I´m interested in permaculture.
  
  And most important where I do need now more hands, is to empty biocompost and empty goats dung battery to garden.
  
  Also I collect firewood from near by forest around lake. This is drug-free area. From here is 9 km to railway station and long distance busses stops from 5 km from this paradise. There is buss stop at road E63/9 from Tampere to Jyväskylä, called Himos. At my place, you can use also bikes and boat for rowing and fishing.
  From city of Jämsä we can borrow a boat for paddling. My place lake water is so clean you can drink it, but I also have spring water. Recommended initial stay for volunteers is around one week, also less is also ok.
  
  And about myself, I´m 54 years old lady. I go around midnight to sleep and wake up around 10 am. I don´t know nothing about routines, what I do here , comes up step by step.
  
  Very often you can meet some new peoples also, if you want.
  I hope person is motivated to help me/to do things. I have experience of to be a host. And also I have made a lot of voluntary work, so I know both side. If it match well, you can stay longer, hope so, and we can develop each other and to be also friends.
  In permaculture garden and repairing chicken house, or many small things, you know, places have always something to repair, here is going on fence to repair. It is good if you have skills (technical, or be interested in to repair in creative way.)
  
  So, specially I look after like strong knowledge about permaculture cardening at spring from around 23 rd of May 2025 and other what I ask, you need to understand about building and be like artist to get way out with me to done things. So 2 types of people im looking for that they could help me. And now during end of summer is this cleaning work at goat house and compost, for that does not need no special skills, only willness.
  
  Here have been a lot of voluntary people at my projects, but not from this pages. People are from many countries for example: Sweden, Iraq, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Republic of the Congo, Algeria, Kurdish, Russia, Kirgisi, Spain, Japan, Morocco, Italy and local people.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Person, who are planing some day an own eco farm they can experience and then compere to keep freedom or have like "taking care" non stop life. Sauna culture is perhaps new thing for people. Here in Jämsä is Sauna-village what belongs to Unesco system. Here you can fishing and row a boat in lake, perhaps this is something new for someone. Here also can understand which kind of people we Finns are, how clean and silence nature we have. I have good network around Finland. We could travel during summer theatre Ihmisyyden tunnustajat (They are theosophists).

  and it depends what we do together, whats going on. Communicate and planing and sharing ideas about project including for that time, and it seems to take also time.

  Here is 2 small houses, traditional outbuilding for sleeping during summer time and we can get electricity also there, and sauna house where is a small room.
