Looking for dog care help in Pajala, Swedish Lapland

  Hello!
  
  We are a multilingual local family living in Swedish Lapland, with 30 happy huskies. We are looking this winter 2024-2025 for a dog-loving person to join us during the winter season (October to April) to help with feeding, cleaning, and caring for the dogs, snow showeling is also a part of the tasks.
  We require a minimum stay of 8 weeks, but can cinsider shorter periods.
  It takes time to learn everything about the dogs and life here and for you to get moust out of it, have we set the period of minumum 6 weeks.
  No prior experience is needed, and we’ll provide all the training.
  
  Our home is in Kieksiäisvaara, close to Pajala, where there’s no local transport, but we can arrange pick-up from nearby towns. With us, you’ll experience everything what is included in life in Lapland.
  It is hard work most of the time in cold temperatures (it can be cold as -40c some times) and dark winter period with very little sunlight, we want you to understand what you are getting in to.
  You have to be able to eat normal house food, as hunting and fishing is a big part of our lives and we also prepare the meals of what we are hunting.
  
  We live in a remote area, surrounded by nature. During your free time, you're welcome to join us on the tours we offer our guests, depending on the availability of dogs or snowmobiles. You're also free to explore other winter activities on your own. Since winter is a busy season for us, it's important that you're independent and able to find things to do in the wilderness by yourself. You can borrow snowshoes, try ice fishing, take a walk with one of the dogs, or join us on tours when possible. We're happy to help when we can, but you'll also have the chance to create your own adventures!

  Unterkunft

  Our spacious home features a large kitchen, a roomy living area, five bedrooms, two toilets, and one shower and we even have an outdoor sauna and a cozy cabin.
  
  We, as a family, live on the ground floor of the house, which includes 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a toilet/shower. In the basement, there's an additional toilet.
  
  Upstairs, we have 3 bedrooms. One of these bedrooms is a guest room specifically for you. It is furnished with a double bed and a sofa, providing you with a comfortable and private space. The other 2 rooms upstairs serve as storage for clothes and a workroom.

  You're welcome to spend quality moments with our friendly husky dogs. You can take them for walks, play with them, and experience the joy of canine companionship.
  
  In addition to the adventures right at our doorstep, Lapland offers a wide array of local sights and experiences, from the Northern Lights to the pristine wilderness. You'll have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty and rich culture of this unique region.
