  Located in the enchanting village of Turtuk in Ladakh, Virsa is a luxury boutique hotel offering an exquisite blend of traditional Balti charm and modern comfort.
  
  We also run 2 unique cafes, best coffee & sushi in town & chef's tasting menu of local dishes.
  
  We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Workaway volunteers to join our team and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
  
  Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of tasks, including guest interaction, front-desk managament, guided culture walks and local farming experiences.
  
  In return, you'll enjoy comfortable accommodation, delicious meals, and the chance to immerse yourself in the unique culture and breathtaking landscapes of Turtuk.
  
  Whether you're passionate about hospitality or simply looking to explore a hidden gem of the Himalayas, our hotel offers a warm and welcoming environment where you can learn, grow, and make lasting memories.
  
  We have more than 10 locally paid staff - they work in farming, cleaning, stone masoning, wooden carving & other operations.

  Arbeit

  Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of tasks:
  
  Guest interaction, front-desk management, guided culture walks, local farming experiences, hosting & more.
  
  We are seeking volunteers for the following roles:
  
  - Landscape Architect 🌿
  Enhance our farm-to-table café by transforming our expansive grounds into vibrant sustainable farms. By cultivating high-quality organic produce using eco-friendly practices, we will enrich our culinary offerings and guest experiences. This initiative supports our farm-to-table philosophy, providing flavorful, locally sourced ingredients and fostering a genuine connection between guests and their food, all while benefiting local ecosystems and reducing our carbon footprint.
  
  - Graphic Designer ✍️
  Enhance our visual identity by collaborating with our team to create engaging visuals that reflect our brand and philosophy. Design café menus, promotional materials, and more. Use your proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar to develop visual concepts and illustrations. Execute designs for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and promotional materials ensuring graphics and layouts are on-brand.
  
  - Artists 🎨
  Are you an artist with a passion for teaching and sharing your craft? We are seeking enthusiastic volunteer artists to lead art retreats in our dedicated art studio. You will facilitate immersive art workshops, guide participants through creative processes and techniques, and share your craft and artistic vision helping guests explore and develop their artistic talents.
  Design and lead activities that showcase your unique talents and style!
  
  - Photographer/Videographer 🎥
  Create engaging marketing content for our social media platforms and website!
  Enjoy the creative freedom to tell our unique story and highlight the elegance and authenticity of our offerings with your professional camera. You can document the elegant vernacular architecture of our boutique hotel, our Signature Experiences, cultural and culinary experiences, workshops, promotional content featuring models and more. A bonus if you have a drone!
  
  - Models 📸
  Represent our brand in engaging photoshoots and video shoots that highlight our distinctive style and offerings, and contribute to creating compelling content that captures the essence of our property and culinary delights.
  Your images and videos will be featured across our social media platforms and website. You will work with creatives to produce high-quality content in a stunning setting and enjoy a rewarding experience while enhancing your modelling portfolio.
  
  - Yoga Instructor 🧘
  Are you a passionate Yoga Teacher Training certified yoga instructor looking to share your expertise in a serene and inspiring setting? Our boutique hotel is seeking volunteer yoga instructors to lead invigorating and relaxing sessions for our guests.
  You will be able to offer yoga sessions creating a calming environment and enhancing our guests’ wellness experience where guests can unwind, rejuvenate, and enjoy the benefits of yoga. You can share your practice in our picturesque and tranquil setting to teach classes that fit both your availability and our guests’ needs.
  
  If you have a special performing, creative, crafty or culinary talent that may enrich our guests' experience and contribute to our exceptional ambience, we welcome you to get in touch!
  
  You can learn fun life-skills like farming, local cooking, coffee-making among other earthy-interesting things!
