  Hi! My name is Nicky, a 31-year-old Dutch entrepreneur who embarked on a new adventure in 2020. I proudly present to you a heavenly oasis nestled in the lush green valley of Garfagnana, Tuscany where I have created a luxurious glamping and camping destination. But what sets us apart is the perfect combination of high-quality glamping and camping experiences with an authentic farm setting, complete with adorable animals. The focus is on the Dutch market, which means that 90% of the guests come from the Netherlands. Beside the glamping and camping there is also a very cosy loungebar and a good restaurant on the property. I live at this idyllic location next to the river the Serchio together with my sheep, horses, dogs, cats and chickens. The place to be for animal lovers!

  I can share with you my vision on running a business and taking care of animals and how I combine these two as a Agriturismo. I can tell you everything about running a camping and glamping, the life in Italy and my vision on ''living your work''. Additionally, I can learn you some Dutch.
  
  The Garfagnana is a green area not yet discovered by tourists. You will feel completely at home here if you love nature, animals, hiking and swimming in the river.
  
  Our location is a 5-10 minute walk from the train station which gives you the opportunity to visit cities such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence. The village center of Camporgiano is about a 15 minute walk away. There you will find several bars, restaurants and a supermarket.
  
  During the summer there are many cultural activities in the area that are definitely worth a visit.

  Arbeit

  *** Please only apply if you meet the job requirements, the period of stay and have a EU passport! *** €8 per hour, accommodation or camping pitch and an unique working holiday experience included.

  We think it is very important that we have a team we can count on. We have a young team in the age category 20-35 years. We try to put together a nice team every year with people who fit together so that a nice community is created :-)
  
  Below you will find the open vacancies for the 2025 season:
  
  Cleaner
  You ensure that our guests enjoy a clean environment and accommodation.
  
  Period: as soon as possible - September 2025. Shorter period is NOT possible.
  Hours: around 30 hours per week flexible (fewer hours in low season, more hours in high season).
  
  Waiter/waitress
  Hospitality is in your blood! Important; you have remarkable experience in a restaurant as a waiter or waitress. You serve our guests, make drinks and make sure they are completely pampered. You give us a hand with cleaning on busy changeover days. You are a jack of all trades who enjoys everything equally. We are looking for a couple!
  
  Period: as soon as possible - September 2025. Shorter period is NOT possible.
  Hours: around 40 hours per week flexible (fewer hours in low season, more hours in high season).
  
  Handy man
  You are handy, can work independently and see what needs to be done. Experience with electrician, plumber and carpentry work is a must. From leaking taps, connecting a socket to repairing a chair, you ensure that everything is in order and working. You don't hesitate to lend a hand with the cleaning on the busy changeover day. In addition, you are a social person and you enjoy chatting with our guests. You will also help with checking in and out guests and bringing the luggage to the tents.
  
  Period: as soon as possible - October 2025. Only full season stay possible.
  Hours: +/- 30 hours per week (fewer hours in low season, more hours in high season)

  I hope you haven't dropped out yet because now comes the fun part of a workaway with me :-) Besides the work there is plenty of time to explore the area, relax by the pool or the river, make a beautiful hike or enjoy our sauna and hot tub. You can use all facilities (if available) and there is a lot of room for flexibility (if the work allows this) if you want to get away for a few days for example.
  
  In addition to the help we receive from workawayers, we also employ a few permanent local employees who help us in the garden and in the restaurant.

  Unterkunft

  We have a brilliant place where all workawayers can stay. Place your own camping equipment there or use one of our caravans or tents in the middle of the forest (but close to the campsite). A wonderful place to sit together, have diner and listen or make music because no one will bother you. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and sanitary unit with a toilet, sink, hot shower and washing machine.

  Was noch ...

  Our location is situated in the green Garfagnana valley. You can easily visit Lucca, Pisa and Florence by train. The train station is within walking distance from our site. There are endless hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. With sufficient experience you can help with riding the horses.
