  Hi there, We are Shannon and Mike and we live in beautiful Colorado Springs. We have 3 kids ages 11,9 and 6. Colorado Springs is the Mecca for outdoorsy people. Tons of hikes, rock climbing, ski and snow boarding. We also have a dog and 3 cats.

  We would love to introduce others to our life style here and get them involved in our activities (mostly surrounds kids) we do snowboard and ski and hike often. If the workaway has kids, we would love to show them all the kids activities around here and all that they can do.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for someone to help teach my kids (and me) Spanish and help with clean up around the house ( 3 kids and all the pets can get messy). I am thinking of moving the kids to a Spanish speaking country for a year and want them to have a basic understanding of Spanish before we go. We are outdoorsy and would include our workaways in our weekend activities to be exposed to the languages more. My kids are old enough that I do not need childcare help, as they can care for themselves and walk to and from school.

  We all would love to learn Spanish! I am hoping to move my kids to Spain or Costa Rica for a year in their public school to learn the language and would like us to not be in too much of a shock when we move with our limited Spanish.

  Unterkunft

  We can offer you a room with queen size bed, your own dresser and closet. If you have kids we can add beds or they are welcome to crash with my kids. If we cook a meal the workaways is welcome to share with us but we dont always cook and the kids usually eat at school. if needed I can give a ride to grocery stores and if willing to cook your homestyle meal, i would happily buy the ingredient. Always welcome to join us on all and any activity, just pay for your ticket, gas and transportation on us!

  Was noch ...

  We are very easy going and love new adventures. Public transportation is not the best here but you are welcome to our bikes and if needed I can provide rides.
