  Hey dear Workawayers,
  
  My name is Patty.
  
  I am a teacher and mother of a 6 years old boy. We are taking care of an amazing piece of land in nothern Thailand, 7 km out of the small artist town called Pai.
  
  The land offers a mud house with 2 rooms, where one room is for workawayers. It offers a small private bungalow for workawayers as well. We can host 2 volunteers. We keep chickens for meat and eggs and cultivate an organic vegetable garden. There are ponds with fish, lots of banana trees and a variety of other trees and bushes.
  
  At the moment the Fairy Mud House is looking for house sitters as we live in Chiang Mai for most of the time as my son needed a new school and he learns skating and riding. We are coming to Pai every second weekend to enjoy nature time and help in the garden and on the houses.
  
  Your tasks on the land would be to take care of everything while we are gone:
  - house (keep cleaned and maintained)
  - animals (feeding and collecting eggs)
  - plants around the house (watering)
  - garden beds (deweeding and planting)
  - harvest and preserve the foods (dehydration or pickling)
  
  The land is cared by a main Thai gardner twice a week, who does all the heavy tasks like grass cutting, trimming and collecting leaves preparing compost and earth mixtures.
  
  On your arrival, I will brief you into the tasks and show you the daily routine for 1 or 2 days. So you will learn and be able to do it alone. The father of my son is always around (he lives 10 minutes away) and would come to see you in case you would need assistance with something or you can just call me :-).
  
  Included:
  
  -fresh eggs from our chicken and vegetables, fruits and herbs from our garden.
  -private room with king size bed and shared kitchen and bathroom in a lovely mud house (You will have the house for yourself most of the time while we are gone but you will need to share the place with my son and me when we are in Pai for 2 to 3 days every second week).
  -private bungalow with queen size bed
  
  Not included:
  - motorbike to get to town ( you can walk or hitchhike to the nearest village, Vieng Nuea, where you can find the next shop and vegetable market)

  P.s: This opportunity is for Workawayers who do not need much assistance and who can work independently. I am always available by phone if you have questions of course. Couples are welcome as you are not alone and make yourself company :-)

  Arbeit

  Activities:
  There is always a lot to do :-) Feeding animals, deweeding the garden beds, creating compost zones, preparing earth mixtures and fertalizers, planting, watering, harvesting, maintainance of houses, preserving foods grown in the garden, etc.
  
  Accomodation:
  You will live next door to my family in a private bungalow or in one of our rooms in the mud house.

  You will enjoy a private room with shared kitchen and bathroom. You are most of the time home alone. My son and me will be living with you in the same house every second weekend.
