  Hi! We (Kira & JJ) are based in Zaandam (about 12 minutes by train from Amsterdam), looking for a caring, reliable, and tidy sitter for our home and two cats, Ash and Mouse.
  
  Ash and Mouse are 5 years old with very different personalities—Ash is affectionate, social, and food-motivated, while Mouse is more independent and calm but enjoys company, especially in colder weather. They’re easy to care for and follow a simple routine: wet food twice a day, some kibble, and basic cleaning of their litter and sleeping areas. They also have outdoor access and come and go freely.
  
  The house is well located with great transport links (quick access to Amsterdam Centraal), a supermarket within walking distance, and everything you need nearby.
  
  We’re looking for someone who enjoys cats, is responsible, and keeps the home clean and tidy throughout their stay.
  
  In return, you’ll have a comfortable stay in Zaandam with two lovely cats and easy access to Amsterdam.

  Staying here gives you a chance to experience everyday life just outside Amsterdam, in a quieter local area while still being very well connected to the city.
  
  You’ll get a feel for a typical Dutch neighborhood—cycling around, visiting nearby supermarkets, and enjoying a more relaxed pace compared to the busy city center. At the same time, Amsterdam is very easy to reach, so you can explore museums, cafes, markets, and cultural events whenever you like.

  Feeding routine
  Mousse and Ash need to be fed separately.
  Wet food: twice per day (around 8–9 AM and 4–5 PM)
  Kibble: top up if the auto feeder light starts blinking
  Snacks (optional)
  
  Cleaning & upkeep
  Clean food bowls after each meal (including dry food bowl)
  Refill water fountain as needed and clean it once a week
  Check and clean the litter box once a week
  Keep the house generally tidy and clean during your stay
  
  Plants
  Indoor plants: water once a week
  Outdoor plants: water daily if there’s no rain (summer only)

  You’ll stay in a private guest room with a comfortable single bed, providing a quiet and cozy space to rest.
  
  You’ll have access to all essential facilities in the house, including a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and living spaces.
  
  In terms of food, this is a self-catering arrangement. There’s a supermarket just a short walk away, and you’re welcome to use the kitchen to prepare your own meals.

  Our place is very suitable for digital nomads. We have fast and stable fiber internet (up to 1 Gbps), which works well for video calls, streaming, or any kind of remote work. There’s also a proper home office setup available, including monitors, so you can work comfortably without needing to rely on a laptop only.
