We are a young 29 year old couple from Seattle, Washington. At the end of 2018, we decided to get married and buy a house. We have two dogs, Deuce (4 years old) and Ace (1 year old). Although our house is not in the city, we are very close to bus stops that will get you into the city in less than an hour. We love traveling and travelers and have even used workaway to volunteer while traveling.
We are looking for someone who is willing to house and dog sit for us for a couple of weeks while we take our honeymoon this upcoming September. The perfect fit for us would be a guy or a very assertive female at least 21 years of age, looking to stay less than a month. Our dogs are not for anyone who is afraid of dogs. They are both large (80 pounds) pit bulls and need someone around who can handle giving commands. If you can build a friendship with the dogs, everything else will be really easy. Also, if you did not know Marijuana is 100% legal here and available to anyone over 21 years old. With that in mind, Volunteers should be marijuana friendly and comfortable knowing that we are as well.
Betreuung von Tieren
Chores would be limited. Mostly normal home chores: cleaning, dishes, hopefully some cooking from your country. Grocery shopping ( grocery store is 10 minute walk ), possibly walking the dog while we are at work.
English, some Spanish, very little French and Italian from our trip
volunteers would have our guest bedroom (queen size bed), private bathroom, and access to the full kitchen. We can provide some basic food options for while we are gone but volunteers should plan to take care of their own meals. We have internet, xbox, and laptop available also.
You would have lots of free time which is great because there is so much to do around here. I would suggest looking into a Seattle City Pass that allows you to see most popular attractions in a bundled price. Busses are not a far walk and run from early morning to late nights almost every 30 mins.
