  I am an English nurse,
  i follow a plant based diet and try to avoid ultra processed food.
  I have lived in south Normandy for seven years, my current projects involve :-
  
  Developing my gîte business , ( no workaway involvement here)
  Running a community art hub,
  Independent cat and kitten rescue
  Maintaining my beautiful traditional 300 year old French granite longere and evolving my large English country garden…
  
  
  I have arthritis in my knee and a chronically injured ankle and I am looking for people who want to spend time helping me to evolve my own land/ garden. I try to recycle everything and do not use pesticides. Maintain my own home ( decorating and upcycling) and my animals…. I seem to be amassing a small independent cat sanctuary with French abandoned and rescued kittens…the current count is six cats and two kittens.
  In exchange for your work I can offer a lovely large bedroom with newly renovated wet room and the use of a large fully equipped kitchen . Or off season Workaway are welcome to stay in my self catering gite.
  
  This village a very central location for all Normandy attractions and a very tranquil and laid back environment
  
  A car is essential here…this is rural Normandy with very limited public transport and all shops are too far to walk.

  I live in rural south Normandy, this is an ancient and geologically and historically rich area of France.
  The village was originally built for the granite workers at the 50 plus granite quarries in the area… there is now only one viable quarry and a granite museum with a sculpture garden, that hosts regular patrimony events.
  The location is ideal and central for all Normandy areas of interest including Mont Saint Michel , Bayeux and the historic Normandy beaches.

  Arbeit

  I welcome help maintaining and developing my large garden, help me looking after my 300 yr old home, walking my dog and caring for my chickens and cats.
  Decorating, home maintenance and upcycling are ongoing.
