Salut !
I am Paul, 37 years old, local specimen, currently working for healthcare. and renovating for many years.
I like listen to music, enjoy an evening of cinema or a nice conversation, reading different kinds of books. Going out sometimes.
Also a big variety of outdoor activities, walking or biking the forest or rawing the river.
Of course many other things too.
However what I prefer is food...
I live with 12 cats. Very nice and different ones.
I don't have mice.
The construction i renovate was made in the early XIX century, for making wine and small cattle.
I want that it could be used for its purpose, of local production, with what nature will give it.
And making it cross another century. -

My home is quiet, peaceful, and its surroundings are very protected, just aside Dordogne valley.
I consider culture as a set of social rituals : as a meal, telling stories and sharing information about life or crafting, Museums and visits are not so far though.
The region is quite touristic in summer, far less populated in winter. But the diversity of the land has been preserved and its nature is still wealthy.
Bests seasons for those who like changes are autumns and springs.
I can show you places here that others visitors will never see.
If you like cooking, I would be honoured to share tastes. -
Arbeit
Inside :
The most important part is making a water circuit for central heating.
However there is always something to do.
Outside :
Sculpting brambles.
Cut wood.
Shapennig trees.
In general :
Help to maintain a clean home for humans and other animals.
Cooking.
And have fun. -

I can speak french as my native language. Spanish that I used a lot for those past years. My english is a bit rusty but I manage it not so badly. -
Unterkunft
There is hot water, electricity, wood heating, internet connection.
Number of volunteers is limited by the nature of current tasks and possibilities for hosting : groups of several peoples can be hosted only in those conditions.
There are two rooms available with a big bed in each.
There is one bathroom for everyone with shower and bath, and one toilet apart.
I provide food, and am strictly omnivorous.
I love vegetables but also cooking them with water, oil, milk, butter, cream, and animal fat.
Cheese, Bread and Wine are sacred.
And Fat is life. -

I have already hosted several people in different circumstances. I remember living with seventeen roommates long time ago.
Lot department has very few public transports. I can help you to organise your trip.
Notice this place can seem remote, the next town is at one hour by foot.
I am very thankful for the help and exchange of ways of perception. -
