Beschreibung
We are an agriturismo (country hotel) and organic farm in the heart of Umbria, Italy, near Perugia.
From seeding to restaurant everything passes through our hands and we live in a very sustainable was and as self-sufficient as possible. The work on our farm and the agriturismo consists in: All agricultural work like digging, weeding, planting, cutting trees. In the agriturismo it's more about cooking, baking, housekeeping and maintenance. Know that the work is mostly very physical.
If you are fine-tuned to quality and devoted to what you do and if you don't mind to have dirt under your fingernails and the wind in your hair and love being outside, let us know - we might match.
We like our workawayers to feel at home. We live a simple country life and at the same time we like a little comfort. So, be prepared to a new kind of living where comfort and simplicity are not excluding each other.
On our organic farm we work with care and awareness and follow the rhythms of nature. Sheep and chickens, 2 dogs, 5 cats and highland cattle are sharing our life.
We are a swiss couple living in Italy, so at the same time you dive into 2 cultures: The italian joy for life and the swiss reliability.

Fratticiola Selvatica is a little tiny village near Perugia (20km). We have an official bus line, but buses run only like 4-5 times a day (the last one arrives in Fratticiola at 7 p.m). The bus stop is a 20 minutes walk downhill and 1 hour uphill. Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio and other main tourist sites are within 1/2 hour distance by car. We live a little isolated, please consider this.
