  We are Arantxa and Vito, and we live on a farm in Asturias in our campervan with our two dogs, Tina and Chica. We are self-sufficient with solar energy and rainwater harvesting. We have a vegetable garden, a greenhouse, and other animals such as cats, ducks, geese, and a donkey. We enjoy spending time improving this space. The property is very well connected, with good car access, and you can walk to the village shop, catch the bus, etc. We have many fruit trees, a wooden cabin, and space to park a campervan or motorhome. We are getting everything ready so that we and anyone who visits can enjoy it.
  
  Arantxa enjoys working in the garden, learning to grow from seed, making preserves and ferments, doing DIY projects, caring for the animals, and putting all her permaculture knowledge into practice.
  
  Vito enjoys installing photovoltaic systems on camper vans, as well as working on the farm (water filtration systems, DIY projects, mechanics, etc.). Basically, anything that involves ingenuity!
  
  We also like taking walks with our animals along the nearby paths!

  Somos Arantxa y Vito y vivimos en una finca en Asturias en nuestro furgón vivienda con nuestras dos perritas Tina y Chica. Nos autoabastecemos con energía solar y captación de agua. Tenemos una huerta, invernadero y más animales como gatas, patas, ocas y un burro. Nos gusta dedicar tiempo en mejorar este espacio. La parcela está muy bien comunicada, tiene buen acceso en coche, se puede ir andando a la tienda del pueblo, coger el bus, etc. Tenemos muchos árboles frutales, una cabaña de madera, espacio para poder aparcar furgoneta camper o autocaravana .Estamos poniéndolo todo al día para poder disfrutarlo nosotros y todo el que venga.
  
  Arantxa disfruta con los trabajos en la huerta, aprendiendo a cultivar desde la semilla, hacer conservas, fermentos, bricolaje, cuidar a los animales, poner en práctica todos los conocimientos de Permacultura.
  
  Vito disfruta haciendo instalaciones fotovoltaicas a vehículos camper, así como en labores de la finca (sistemas de filtrado de aguas, bricolaje, mecánica...) En fin, todo lo que sea ingeniar!
  
  También nos gusta dar paseos con nuestros animales por los caminos cercanos!

  We moved to this area two years ago and we're like sponges, absorbing everything new! Every year we make cider with apples from our orchard. And we're up-to-date on cultural and nature activities in the area. We can recommend some or even do some activities together.
  
  We also live in a camper van and can share our experience and knowledge of having built it ourselves and living self-sufficiently. We're learning about permaculture, self-sufficiency, and how to make the most of nature's resources.
  
  We invite you to discover Asturias through the eyes of two Andalusians!

  Nosotros nos hemos mudado hace 2 años a esta zona y somos como una esponja, absorbemos todo lo nuevo! Cada año hacemos sidra con manzanas de nuestra finca. Y estamos al tanto de actividades culturales y de naturaleza para hacer por la zona. Podemos recomendarte o incluso hacer alguna actividad juntos.
  
  Además, vivimos en un vehículo vivienda y podemos compartir contigo nuestra experiencia y conocimiento de haberlo construido nosotros mismos y vivir de forma autosuficiente. Estamos aprendiendo de permacultura, autosuficiencia y a aprovechar los recursos que nos da la naturaleza.

  We live on this property year-round and are looking for people who can help us with day-to-day tasks. This could include looking after the animals, working in the garden, woodworking, tool maintenance, etc.

  Unterkunft

  We offer accommodation on our property. There are several options:
  - The Cabin: It has a sofa bed, fireplace, and equipped kitchen. The cabin will be shared, as it includes the communal kitchen.
  
  - Tent: with mattress, sheets, and blankets.
  
  - Campervan space: you can park on level ground.
  
  We have a hot shower and a composting toilet in an outdoor tent.
  
  You will have access to a kitchen and basic pantry, with food for cooking available.
  
  The idea is an exchange, for about 20 hours of work per week. These can be distributed from Monday to Thursday, 5 hours per day. If you stay on the property while we are away, you will only be responsible for routine tasks and looking after the place.
  This is a place under construction; we are renovating it, and you are coming to lend a hand. In return, we provide accommodation and food. This is not a place for a holiday.
  
  There are bars and small shops nearby, about 1.5 km away and within walking distance. Large supermarkets and a laundromat are also a 10-minute drive or bus ride away.
  
  Cleanliness is also important; everyone is responsible for cleaning everything they use. And at the end of your stay, please leave everything clean and tidy.

  Ofrecemos alojamiento en nuestra parcela . Hay varias opciones:
  - La Cabaña: hay un sofá cama, chimenea y cocina equipada. La cabaña será compartida en el aspecto que es donde está la cocina común.
  - Tienda de campaña: con colchón, sábanas y mantas.
  - Espacio para furgoneta camper: puedes aparcar en llano.
  
  Disponemos de ducha de agua caliente y un wc seco en una carpa exterior.
  
  Dispondrás de cocina y despensa básica, con comida para cocinar a tu disposición.
  
  La idea es hacer un intercambio, por unas 20h de trabajo a la semana. Se pueden repartir de lunes a jueves, 5h al día. Si quedas en la finca mientras nos ausentamos sólo serán las tareas rutinarias y quedar cuidando el lugar.
  Esto es un lugar en construcción, lo estamos reformando y se viene a echar una mano y a cambio nosotros os damos alojamiento y comida. No es un lugar para venir de vacaciones.
  
  Hay bares cercanos y tiendecitas a 1,5km y se puede ir andando. También Supermercados grandes y lavandería a 10 min en coche o bus.
  
  Importante también es la limpieza, cada cual debe limpiar todo aquello que use. Y al terminar tu estancia debes dejar todo limpio y ordenado.

  The road leading to the plot is 250m from the nearest village, and 1.5km down the road is another larger village. Behind the plot, there's another exit leading to a path that allows you to reach the villages on foot or hike (climbing La Xamoca peak, the Cabornos Route, which is very well connected to the Ruta del Alba, and the Tarna Pass, etc.). A 40-minute drive from Oviedo or Gijón. There's a bus stop 1.5km away.

  La carretera que llega a la parcela está a 250m del pueblo más cercano y bajando, a 1,5km hay otro pueblo más grande. Luego, detrás de la parcela hay otra salida, por donde se sale a pie a un sendero que te permite llegar tanto a los pueblos caminando como hacer rutas de senderismo (subir al pico la Xamoca, Ruta de los Cabornos, muy bien conectado con la Ruta del Alba, puerto de Tarna… a 40 min en coche de Oviedo o Gijón. Parada de bus a 1,5km.

  Podemos alojar a nómadas digitales, nosotros trabajamos de forma online y llega buena cobertura 5G. A 1,5km hay una biblioteca con acceso a internet y ordenadores donde se trabaja increíblemente bien.

  Si vives en furgoneta camper, tenemos un espacio para que puedas aparcar aquí y usar la parcela, tomar una ducha de agua caliente, etc. Además la parcela es muy soleada y si tienes placas solares se podrán cargar bien.

  Hier sind Haustiere in der Regel willkommen

  Nos acompañan dos perritas, tres gatas, patos, ocas y un burro. Si tu animal se adapta a ello no tenemos problemas. Pero si se pone nervioso/a puede ser estresante.
