Participate in charitable dance and music events and enjoy life on an organic farm and cultural center with sea views and sunsets over the fields. Here is high to the sky, sprouting flowers and thoughts of peace and joy for everyone. Here is a pop-up gallery, 5 individual homes with 12 children and adults of all ages. In addition to cats, cattle, vegetables and sunset over the field, I am the initiator of a non-profit project, which is about sharing music and smiles by playing and dancing in the street.
First and foremost I would like to invite one dance partner at the time who wants to merge salsa with Argentine tango, and skilled musicians who wants to participate in the events.
If you want, join yoga sessions and make creative works in stone and sand on the beach.
There is life in the local wilderness bath, the sauna and resident vikings who enjoy the cold thrill in the sea. – In the summer when the sea temperature rises, it is crowded with boats and people in the water and on the beach.

We share the kitchen, living room and bathroom and you will get a single room or a double room.

I am looking for long term stays only and the paid amount will open possibilities for you to save money or seattle in Denmark for a while - What do you think - Do you wanner come? Hugs from Michael.

Vom Workawayer (Juan Sebastián) für Host

Well, it's not easy to express all lived in almost 6 weeks I was with Michael. It was my first experience doing volunteerings, so, as everything in life, the biginning will always be the most difficult part. I've worked as really work a farm man, so I know It'd seems a little hard, but Michael will be kind and patient, and he'll teach you… read more everything the jobs requires. There were always a large list of jobs in Michael's mind, so you'll always be doing differents things where It's imposible you get bored. I think I've wroten about work is enough, 'cause in fact, the real experiences you take for yourself are: the first one, the possibility to grown as a human being while you're learning new things and spending time with yourself, an the second one, the possibility you can get a funny moment while you meet people by yourself or people Michael can introduce you to, I think It's the way to learn too much, whatever you want to learn.

So, some things I experienced beyond work were: I met Michael's family, his mom (she was a very kind woman who loved to talk to me a lot about life experiences), his couple and his son who were also very kind to me. I was able to share with the horses, cows and a beautiful cat. I met some good Michael's friends and I liked all of them, people from Denmark are very kind. When Michael was going to the town, he always took me with him so I had the possibility to know the town alone, which is a very nice town with a good places to take some traditional denmark desserts. I was able to learn to play drums thanks to Michael was teaching me some rhythms. We also did yoga some days. I was able to ride the Micael's bike for doing excersice, and I also went jogging along the ride in front of the sea. Maybe I did more things I don't remember rigth now, but overall I enjoyed too much those 6 weeks.

And what about Michael? Well, he gave me from the first day, the greatest confidence that anyone could had give me so fast. He alwas was open to share with me his food, his farm, his beautiful house, his musical instruments, his things for give me a confortable accommodation, and not just that, he also was open to share knowledge, ideas, language, and more about life. I think we did a good connection, so it only remains to say, thank you very much Michael and I hope to see you again in the future when I decide to return to a country that I really loved.

Vom Workawayer (Victor) für Host

If you want to experience living and in a peaceful and cheerful community of families, I really recommend this workaway for you!

I did not know what to expect as my first workaway when I applied, other than just going to Denmark and see what happens. Michael's willingness to videochat with me and show around the house revealed his big heart and… read more good energy and then I was good to go. I spent two beautiful weeks there, and left with a tight heart wanting to stay more!!

Michael picked me up in the train station and the adventure began.
The community is a small farm in a beautiful corner of the island, with chickens, horses, cows and funny cats, 5 min away from the sea which was an amazing way of waking up in my mornings! The peaceful neibourghood is full of lovely people that greet you with a smile :)

Everybody in the community has a desire for a more integrated and ecologic way of living, which makes it easy and really fun to be together! You also have a lot of free time to explore the region and to immerse in your own practices too.
My day was basically getting up at 8, having a dip in the sea, back in the house I did yoga and at about 10 we started to work, either digging the weeds or helping with the roof building that Michael was doing in his house. I believe the roof it's ready now, so you'll probably be helping out with something else in the community, like feeding the chickens and a new project! It's good if you have experience, and totally fine if you don't and is eager to learn. Michael often asked if everything was alright, and was easy to talk to.
Usually we had a snack break and then continued a bit in the afternoon. Then at 18h everybody gathered in the main house and we had lovely dinner together! We had turns cooking, so everybody could put their own spice ;)
After dinner its free time, and I usually had good conversations with whoever was there! Also you have plenty of time to read, write or anything you like. Know that is a very calm place as the city is 8km away, but you can also go there and come back to sleep.
I had free time in the weekends to enjoy the region, Svendborg which is a charming city half an hour away by bike, which they lend me.

Aside from Michael and his musical soul, there are two other families with small and sooo lovely children, that made my stay really rich! Really miss you guys, Christian, Savannah, Carlos and Ditte and all the kids! Really good energy, and everybody loves music and some play too, so get ready for some jam sessions and bring instruments if you have!

I really recommend this place that I was fortuanate to call home for 2 weeks, especially because of the beautiful people that live there and want a better future for this world. If it makes sense to you, either for the ecological living, the community spirit, the family environment or the amazing sea and landscape, experiencing time for yoursef surrounded by lovely animals, just go!

Thank you so much for everything Michael and everybody, from salsa dances to good conversations and open hearts! Hope everybody is doing great!

We stayed nearly 3 weeks helping Mickael to renovate his house. He is very nice and friendly ! Same for the community he lives with. There are all interesting person. Our tasks was simple ones and we worked hard to make it clean :)
We would be glad to come back and see all of them !
