  Beschreibung

  Hi, we are Janika and Risto and our great kids Sulo and Vilma.
  
  We live in rural area with one cat and some chickens. 75km from Tampere and 45km from Pori. Three smaller cities are less than 30km away. I work at one of them and we go to church in another.
  
  You will have a large summer room at your disposal. At first you could help us make it awesome. Right now it is not so much. We have a lot of material to do this. Family or a group can stay there as well.
  
  We have this national park next door with lots of birds in it. There's a river next to us if you like fishing and a swimming shore. At good weathers we go to Pitkäjärvi where there's a good beach with jumping tower. There's also great barbeque place, frisbee golf, tennis course etc. We have equipments for all sorts of fun sports. We will visit the Yyteri sands by the sea this summer. It's close to us. There will be sports if you like. Work as well.
  
  We eat a lot and we eat really well, because I'm a good chef. We eat all sorts of different foods. So be prepared to eat well. If need be, it is possible to cook only meat free foods during your stay and there is always food, snacks and sweets awailable for you.
  
  If you happen to be good at chess that would be great.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We have a small farm with traditional finnish sauna. At summers we pick berries and do some farming after which we need to preserve foods in traditional finnish ways, since our winters are long and hard.
  
  I am used to sharing some of finnish history and customs with workawayers. We have also visited local historical sites and met with local people. We have a lot of friends who we visit with workawayers. Usually our guests have liked to come with us to our church as well.
  
  Sometimes we have visited museums and exhibits, or took a day to visit some city with workawayers. We have always seen to our guests having experiences and good time with us. If there is time we would like to learn some spanish, hebrew, or some african, or asian language. We will likely go some day to missionary work full time, but we don't know where.
  
  We are devout Christians and I do apogeletics. If you are interested about Jesus you will get the most out of us. I am interested to meet intelligent atheists and people of other faiths that are willing to engage in deep open minded discussions. I have delved into deep end of philosophy and am quite fluent in sciences, history, psychology, and spiritual matters. I have lived very unusual life, seen the dark side of man and bounced back to abundent joyfull life. I disline bigotry, close mindedness and other traits that make meaningfull discussions impossible. I will be persuaded by truth that can be logically derived. If you are not a deep coversationalist that is also allright. Life is more than talk. You are dearly welcome as you are and we will try to see you will have the best time with us.

  Arbeit

  We do some light farming, potato, pumpking, cucumber etc. There is often something to help with.
  
  We want to get the summer room great this summer. We can start there, so you will get your room nice. The garage needs a little painting this summer, terrace may need oiling, etc.
  
  You can help with chickens and if you like you can take responsibility from fish trap so we can get fresh fish.
  
  We do different sorts of voluntary projects you can come help with and we help neighbors.
  
  In season we pick berries and musrooms, this is important. You will get to learn how to preserve them.
  
  I will see to you getting a lot of different experience istead of monotonous repetition.

  Unterkunft

  Summer rooms. Freely available sauna in outside building. At the sauna possibilty to shower. Modern shover, kitchen etc. available in the house. We always eat there together. Snacks also provided to your room.

  We have a car and we move around. There 's also bicyckles for you to use freely. I ride to work almost everyday 20+km/side, but you will likely prefer the car.

  We have cat in the house. Pets are free to live with you in summer house. Notice!!! There is only ladder leading to summer house since it is the attic of garage. It is spacy, but you need to be able to carry your animal there.
