Family of four (mum, dad, 2 teenager girls) and 2 dogs looking for workawayers to visit us in Northern Finland and help in our daily chores and practice English / other language.

Learn and live in with a native Finnish family in the Northern part of Finland close to the Lapland and Arctic Circle. Enjoy nature and peaceful atmosphere. Hike in the national parks, ride a bike and swim in the clear water lakes. Learn Finnish cultural and food, learn language and entrepreneurs lifestyle close to Finland's one of the famous ski resort Ruka. In winter go skiing and enjoy snow! Experience cold winter with snow from December to April.
In summer experience nightless nights when sun is shining 24/7 and reindeer is wandering everywhere!
Arbeit
We are looking for:
-females only
-age preference over 28
-self-orientated
-outdoor person
-dog lover and some experience with dogs required
-smiling, independent, happy and active personality
Your task could be like:
-help with dogs (walking, playing)
-household chores, like cleaning, ordering things, cooking
-cutting firewood and pile in a wood shed
-in winter sweeping snow on the porches and walkways
-language practice and cultural exchange
-small maintenance and construction help at home
-painting (not in winter)
-different kind of works in property
-some help with computers, social media or photographing
We expect:
-no drugs
-no alcohol
-no bad habits
-clean and tidy, precious person
-good social skills
-true dog lover
-no addicted to the phone
-no vegan/vegetarians (we like to share our food culture)
- no night owls, no party people
We are looking for a family member, this is a HOMESTAY, we hope we can learn each other’s culture and keep in touch after workaway.

Unterkunft
Living with a Finnish family, in a private wooden house surrounded by clean nature in a rural area. Workawayer will have a private bedroom with shared bathroom.
House is located very close to the ski resort, so in winter very good opportunity to do skiing and other winter activities in your free time.
Required to have a driving license, here needs to drive everywhere.
This placement fits for person, who likes to spend time in nature and don't need too much attractions. Also needs to be willing to help our family.

Hiking, nature sights, skiing, fishing... everything related with nature is close. Ski resort is very close. Airport is Kuusamo KAO.
Bigger cities like Rovaniemi and Oulu are reachable by bus.
