We are looking for help during the main pilgrim season, which lasts from the end of April to the end of October
Help us hosting pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago
We have recently restored the old priest´s home of Boente (Galicia, Spain) into a cozy 8 bedroom B&B for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. Our property includes 4 acres of land with a vegetable garden, an orchard and plenty of green. Our dog, a few sheep and a gang of chickens keep us company.
Our B&B is located in small hamlet, half way between the Santiago (47 km) and Lugo (50 km) which can be reached by public bus service. More closer by are the villages of Arzúa (8 km) and Melide (6 km), where you can find any type of services and supermarkets. -

Hosting the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago at our B&B is a very special experience. We receive guests from all parts of the world and very different backgrounds. But they all share the common experience of walking the Camino and making new friends and great memories. Everyone has a tale to tell, often times in more than one language at the time....

Arbeit
The main tasks would be helping to prepare and serve the home cooked dinner for our guests, general housekeeping and looking after our guests when we have to run some errands.
In case you are interested, you could also take care of our organic vegetable garden or lend us a hand in our endless list of new projects. -

Since our guests come from all over the world, we constantly switch from Spanish to English and any other language or hands and feet if required. This gives you a great opportunity to practice your language skills in totally pressure free environment and with loads of fun involved. -
Unterkunft
We have a private bedroom and a private bathroom with shower for our staff.
Three meals a day are included. We usually have breakfast, lunch and dinner together, but the kitchen and fridge are available to our staff any time of the day. -
