  Greetings from the Ligurian sea!
  Your next host can be a small no-profit company based in Imperia (Riviera dei Fiori - North West of Italy) from 9 TO 15 SEPTEMBER 2018.
  Diana Onlus is usually involved in educational fields with services young people oriented ,but we also promote incoming tourism and cultural exchanges with foreigner people. For this reason we have built a project that will run just before the Autumn. This idea to push up the locals to menage new outdoor "slow" touristic services. We are convinced that our coast can become a fascinating trail as part of other greats "cammini" in Europe. We plan to host a group of travel bloggers for a week showing our landscape and people, in exchange for an experienced feed-back.
  At the end, what is the trip? Basically it is a 5-day journey all along the Riviera coast. And Timon is our mascot, a type of lizard. Everyday, we will walk from 8 to 3/4 p.m near the sea or in the countryside, crossing cities and villages. Local people will wait us to show historical place, tell a story or prepare some traditional food. We are based in Imperia and each morning we reach, with a minivan, the point where we stopped the day before. The group is composed by 4 bloggers (or people involved in "slow"tourism), 2 local students and 2 of us to show the road. During the hike someone of us will take picture and video recordings to edit in a second time. We aim the hosts will like to get involved in it and we require to have their opinion about all the journey, answering questions and filling out our forms.
  As the hiking is the main activity we try to host people who really like this activity and able to walk more than half day.

  The Riviera dei Fiori a nice place to spend a vacation with food, sea and mountains. Always sunny and calm. You can meet our culture and hospitality

  Arbeit

  We need help to understand if our region is now ready to develop a "slow tourism" (similar to the Via Francigena or Camino de Santiago). For that we look for experienced foreigner people to gather viewpoints and suggestions.
  IMPORTANT: We would host someone who likes to hike. And who has skills in touristic fields like journalist , travel blogger blogger, travel agency. In September we walk for 4+1 days in our landscape showing the interesting places to these hosts. The "job" required is to answer to questions and interview to tell us how is the experience and give us suggestions. Not more than 2-3 hours/day medium. It is like a blog tour , but it's little different.

  Unterkunft

  You will be hosted in a seafront flat with a private own room and shared bathroom. We will have the dinner together every day in a different place , to taste the ligurian cuisine. The mediterranean diet includes pasta, olive oil, meat, cheese, fish and wine. For this reason we prefer to host people following special diets. We don't eat in restaurants but in private home or we will prepare together the meals. Lunch are not provided, because are on hike and we don't have the same habits. We will pick up the hosts Sunday 9 at Nice int. airport.

  Imperia and nearby cities are touristic towns on Riviera dei Fiori (West of Liguria) with nice marinas and beaches.
  Natural position particularly fortunate, beautiful villages, food and sea are the main attraction of our landscapes. Warm temperature let people go easily to hike also during the winter. There are all services and transports in place or in nearby cities. It's to be connected to two our big towns: Nice (France) and Genoa (1 hour by car/2 hours by train) where two international airports works.
