  Beschreibung

  My husband (Dominik,42) and me (Theresa,37), came to São Miguel in 2020 and soon decided to stay and settle on this beautiful island. In 2021 we bought a house in the east of the island, in the village Povoação. In march 2022 our daughter (Amaia,3) was born and makes us happy every day. 2023 we adopted two adorable cats (Kima and Kaya,2), that live indoors and outdoors. We enjoy being with people and share the beauty of this place. We live close (5 minutes walk) to the village of Povoação where you find everything you need. In the village there are also 2 beaches to relax, swim, snorkel etc. From our house you look into the blue of the ocean and into the green of the Azorean nature.
  
  We would like to welcome you to live with us and help us with our house and garden. we would like to expand our fruit garden and start planting veggies as well as would like to do some improvements in our house. We also appreciate if you share your own creative ideas on how to make this place even more beautiful, warm and colourful.

  We like to speak and learn different languages. Theresa is also a teacher for german language, always happy to teach as well as to learn other languages (especially portuguese). In the village you can get to know azorean lifestyle and culture and enjoy several celebrations that are taking place quite often. You will experience the life of an expat family.

  2) help in the garden, e.g. starting a bed for veggies, maintain the flower beds, cutting the plants that grow too wild, harvest some fruits, tidy up the property, mow the lawn

  Unterkunft

  You will stay in an apartment in our house with a bathroom and kitchenet. Double bed or 2 seperated single beds.It´s also possible to provide the double bed plus two additional single beds in case you are more than 2 persons.

  In the area of Povoacao there are several beautiful hikes, beaches, a cute village with restaurants,bars and supermarkets. You can reach Furnas with its hotsprings and botanical garden by bus or car (20minutes). On weekends you will have time to explore the diversity of the island.
