Live in a 100 years old French house and do some gardening in Saint-Savin, France

  Beschreibung

  We are a French couple, Pascale and Emmanuel. We are 57 and 50 years old. Emmanuel speaks English, but Pascale does not so you will speak French ! We live in a house near Bordeaux in the country side. The house is old, more than 100 years old and typical house of the region. There's a garden, with chickens and a cat, and a vegetable patch.

  You shall discover the surroundings (Royan, Saint Emilion... are less than one hour from our place)
  There is a nice lake where you can swim
  We have bikes and love to make long ballads by bike.
  We enjoy vegetables and healthy food, and having fun.
  We enjoy "petanque" - a typical sport in France :)

  The garden and "vegetable garden" obviously require regular but pleasant work.
  You will work mostly in the garden. We shall work together.
  
  We want to prevent the house from falling into disrepair. To do this, different hard tasks are required. You just need

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own room with one bed, one fridge and a microwave, a coffee maker, a desk to work. This room was used previously for rental. But we prefer now to have real exchange rather than travelers only.
  The bathroom is large but collective.
  
  We shall eat altogether for all meals. The food is prepared by us or together to discover new recipes. Our food is typical french, simple, with vegetables and some but not too much meat or fish.

  There is a possibility to take a local train to go to Bordeaux (35 min trip).
  We have a car to bring you around during the week end.
  You may use our bikes for nice walks around by your self (or with us !)
