Hi, I live in a small Irish town, which is also home to Ireland 's first Eco Village in Co. Tipperary. I moved here 3 yrs ago and have been busy working as an artist in schools and community projects. The town is a very active social place to live in , public transportation to various towns and cities, lots of natural amenities close by. Ideal for those who would like to explore Ireland and have a base to travel from. Would suit an enthusiastically skilled and adventurous person. Single bedroom, shared cooking, and daily meals provided. Some light gardening and indoor painting would be a feature of the stay.

Home to first Eco Village in Ireland, they provide lots of interesting activities throughout the year. There are many different cultural events happening in the town and it caters to a diverse etnicity, as well as many artists. There are Tradidional sessions in the local pub every week and people are encouraged to join in. We have a Community Cafe on the main street, serving lovely local produce and host many events throughout th eweek. The McDonagh Museum is a great place to learn about Irish history and it also hosts many talks and various exhibitions throughout the year.

Arbeit
I moved to Cloughjordan in 2023. Bought an old 1820's premises. I am almost finished renovations and hope to move in soon. I am currently renting half a house close to the one I'm renovating. I have two bedrooms , one of which is for guests and workaways. I like to cook, mostly plant based but eat meat occasionally. Happy to pick up new recipes and share the cooking of meals together, will provide ingredients for all meals. No indoor smoking, small garden available rear of house. Need your own WiFi Internet access. I use my phone's hot spot for laptop. If you like gardening and light indoor painting you will enjoy this part of Ireland.

Food, and accommodation will be supplied in exchange for 5 hours work x 5 days. Cloughjordan is a very friendly town with lots of artists and plenty of music, traditional sessions in local pub. There are many other towns nearby 15 / 20 mins by car/ local bus. Daily Trains to Limerick, Cork, and Dublin.
