Beschreibung
We are a family of 5 who live on a 1 acre in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, 20 mins from both Mount Maunganui and Papamoa surf beach. We need help in the garden where we have a lot of native bush. We have big hedges to move and replant and lots of outside work!
Most of the work involved is outside, we have vegetable gardens but want to build more.
We have travelled a lot and have been Workawayers ourselves so we know what it’s like to work in different places and meet people from different cultures. -

As we have been Workawayers before we know how it feels to benefit from a Workaway. We have 3 kids who loved working on farms overseas and love to meet new people from around the world. We all met amazing people from different cultures and learnt a lot from others.
We live in a beautiful area where a lot of travellers from all over the world come. Amazing beaches are only 20 mins away, beautiful walks and rivers nearby. We also only 35 mins from Rotorua which is a highly popular place for tourists to do a huge range of activities. We have done them all so can offer help and advise in the local area. -

Unterkunft
Currently available is a room with king single and set of bunks. Breakfast and dinner would be provided and most probably cooked for you! As we have 3 kids we are already cooking and you would just join in if you want that. Lunch can be a self service type when you need it.

The Bay of Plenty is one of the most popular areas for tourists to visit NZ. Lovely surf beaches, hikes, waterfalls and rivers. Mount Maunganui is 20 mins away and lots of cafes/restaurants and the Mount itself, climbing to the top and around. Papamoa also same distance offering beautiful surf beach.
Rotorua is only 35 mins away offering a huge amount of fun activities from Adrenalin outdoor adventures to cultural NZ shows. Mud pools, geysers, cafes and world class mountain biking and hiking, river rafting... the list goes on! Lots of gorgeous lakes surround Rotorua.
We are also close to the Oropi Mountain biking park which is great for walks and biking, good location to shops etc while still being on the outside of town with a big country peaceful feeling. -
