  Hello! We are a family of four; there is myself, Rossella, my husband, (we are both 43), and our children aged 8 and 6. We live in Bari, a nice city in Apulia in Southern Italy.
  
  In a usual week our children go to School Monday-Friday 8am-1:30pm, Ugo works Monday - Friday for most of the day, and I stay at home and run errands for the family. Over the weekend we often like to go on days out to see many of the local attractions - we are quite a lively household so we always find something fun to do!
  
  
  We are relatively new to Workaway but what attracted us to the site was the opportunity to give our children, and us, a cultural Exchange.

  Bari neighbours many interesting places such as Polignano, Matera, Alberobello and Ostuni, all of which have many fun things to see and do. Within Bari there is the old town which is great for wandering around. There are many pubs and cafes in the city to enjoy as well as the beaches. There really is a lot to do here and we would recommend a visitor to research the area to get a sense of what there is to see.
  
  We would hope a visitor would become comfortable with our family and integrate themselves and their culture into our home. In many ways we are a typical Italian family so we feel we have a lot to offer travellers.

  Arbeit

  The main help we would like from a workawayer is language practice for our children and us. My husband and I speak English to an okay standard but our children only know basics. We would want someone visiting us to be able to speak in English confidently and help us all improve.
  
  We would also want a visitor to help look after our children. Lorenzo and Elisa both have a lot of energy and need moderate attention throughout the day.
  
  But please don't panic, the help we would want to receive would not be too demanding! A workawayer would still have plenty of time to themselves.

  We live in a modern apartment, a short car-journey from the center of Bari.
  
  A visitor would have their own bedroom with a double-bed, wardrobe and desk.

  We are friends with another family in Bari who are hosts for Workaway. Staying with us would give you the opportunity to meet this family and their visiting workawayer. Previously we have done outings together and it has been a great exchange of cultures and a good time!
