  We are a team of yogis, running a yoga retreat center on the Greek Island of Karpathos.
  
  We are urgently looking for a maintenance person for the whole season starting asap.
  
  Maintenance & All-Round Fixer – Kathy’s Island Retreat (Karpathos)
  We are looking for a reliable and hands-on maintenance person to join our team for the season.
  This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving practical problems and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
  
  Responsibilities include:
  Handling basic plumbing issues
  General maintenance and repairs around the property
  Supporting with upkeep of buildings, rooms, and outdoor areas
  
  We are looking for someone who:
  Has experience with plumbing and general maintenance
  Has basic electrical knowledge (non-certified/simple fixes)
  Is practical, solution-oriented, and proactive
  Works independently and takes initiative
  Is reliable, flexible, and enjoys a dynamic environment
  You’ll be part of a warm and supportive team in a peaceful, nature-based setting by the sea.

  Requirements:
  English speaking
  Driving licence (bonus, but not essential)

  Unterkunft

  Caravan or Tipi (a big tent). There is electricity, a proper bed/mattress in the accommodation. The bathrooms is shared among the staff.

  Was noch ...

  We are situated a little remote (10 minutes drive to the closest village), but in gorgeous nature very close to the sea (a few meters only), so you need to be ok with being away from busy city life. What we offer is the opposite. Here you will find time to just be. You will be part of an international team of yogis.
  
  There are lovely hiking possibilities in the area and we organize trips every week we go on excursions to different places on the island and you can participate in this if you like.
  
  We have had several volunteers, and they loved it, but this is more for people who are looking for a peaceful place and who are not afraid of being on their own in their free time. If you like to practice yoga and meditation, this is your place!
