  Hi global travelers! I’m Ilia, a 24-year-old hosting at our Hotel, located in the beautiful, historic village of Becho (Svaneti region), right at the foot of the majestic Mount Ushba. This year is super exciting for me because I am planning to move to Germany for my studies! This is why the main goal of hosting volunteers for us is cultural exchange and language practice. I really want to practice my English and German before I leave. In return, my family and I are excited to teach you about Svan culture, our unique traditions, and the Georgian language. If you love nature, want to make a real friend, and help me prepare for my university journey, we would love to welcome you💛💛💛
  
  To ensure a fair environment, we employ a professional, locally paid team at our guesthouse: 1 Administrator, 1 Chef, and 2 Housekeepers, all supported by our monthly bonus system. Volunteers are never a replacement for our staff; you will only help with light hospitality tasks, practice English with us, and become part of our friendly family atmosphere

  Staying with our family is a true cultural experience in the heart of Svaneti. Our boutique guesthouse is located in Mazeri, Becho, right at the foot of the majestic Mount Ushba. Volunteers will live like locals, learn about our rich Svan traditions, and enjoy authentic homemade food. Since we are surrounded by beautiful nature, glaciers, and famous hiking routes, we love sharing the best trails with our guests. If you love mountains, hiking, and horses, this is the perfect place for you! We can arrange horse riding and show you the real freedom of the Svaneti mountains. It is a wonderful opportunity to make lifelong friends and experience genuine Georgian hospitality.

  We are looking for positive and friendly volunteers to join our family team at the hotel. The help requested includes welcoming our international guests, helping with daily hotel tasks, and keeping the common areas tidy and cozy.

  We are native Georgian speakers, but we also speak English and Russian. We would love to practice our English with you, and we are more than happy to teach you some basic Georgian and Svan words during your stay

  Unterkunft

  Volunteers will stay in our boutique guesthouse. We will provide a clean and warm private room for you with a beautiful mountain view. However, please note that when our guesthouse gets fully booked with tourists, you will move to a comfortable shared room with another volunteer. High-speed Wi-Fi, hot water, and all bathroom facilities are included. Regarding food, we provide family-style meals. we eat together when we can, but you are always welcome to use our kitchen, open the fridge, and make yourself a sandwich with our fresh local cheese,bacon and butter whenever you feel hungry. You will truly be treated like a member of our family.

  Was noch ...

  Please note that our village, Mazeri, is a bit remote, which makes it incredibly beautiful and peaceful! The best way to reach us is by taking a marshrutka (minibus) or a shared taxi from Zugdidi, Kutaisi, or Tbilisi heading towards Mestia, and we can help arrange your drop-off near Becho/Mazeri. We highly recommend bringing good hiking shoes and warm clothes, as mountain weather can change quickly. Also, please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. We have a friendly dog and a cat living with us, so please keep that in mind if you have pet allergies. We are so excited to host you.
